Well... This is my second fanfic and... blah blah blah... Hope you 
enjoy it.

(Sploosh) Ranma's head popped out of the pond. "Why did ya do that
old man?" he shouted. His father changed position, which meant that
he was now in the lecture mode. "Son, it's for your own good. You 
have become too carle..." Ranma threw his father in the pond and soon
Genma-panda rose angrily out of the pond. Panda charged at Ranma and
both started duelling. Meanwhile Kasumi started to set the table 
ready and shouted "Breakfest is ready everyone!". "Oh, thank you 
Kasumi." said Ranma and stopped fighting (which wasn't such a 
brilliant idea) Genma-panda smahed Ranma back to the pond and hurried
for the breakfest. A Whole new battle began at the table, when 
Genma-panda tried to get the last pickle. <Honestly... Every morning>
thought Akane and glared at Ranma. "Thanks for the breakfest Kasumi."
said Akane and headed for the bath.

Soon the battle of the last pickle was over and Genma (cheated)
won it. "Thanks Kasumi."said Ranma. He bonked his father on the head
and went upstairs to his room. He changed to his gi and went to dojo.
He started stretching and soon he was kicking and punching the air,
doing katas. After a while he was sweaty and done with his morning
practise. <Akane should be ready with her bath by now...> he walked
to the door which lead to the bathroom and started listening if she
was still there. <What the...> He heard Akane speaking to someone.

Ranma opened the door slightly. He couldn't believe what he saw. 
Ryouga was lying on the floor and naked Akane was leaning over him.

"A... Akane..." said Ranma and he started to feel his eyes getting
hotter. <DON'T YOU CRY IN FRONT OF HER... NOT NOW!>

Akane turned her head quickly and saw Ranma staring at her and 
Ryouga. "Ranma..." said Akane while shaking her head. "This isn't
what it looks like..."

Ryouga lifted his head and looking rather dizzy. "Ranma?"

"Heh... Ryouga, you sly pig."Ranma tried to smile as if he wouldnt
care, but only managed to grim weakly. Ranma felt how the tears 
started to come and turned around. "I guess you want to call the 
engagement off now?" He couldn't stop the tears anymore. <No! I don't
want neither of them see me like this!> Ranma ran away.

"Wha... Hey, baka. Come back!" said Akane and got up. "Stop!"

"I understand... Don't worry about me, I'm going for a training
trip for a while. Goodbye!"

"Ranma no..." Akane saw that Ranma wouldnt stop, so she got her 
mallet. "BAKA!" She threw her mallet to stop Ranma.

The mallet hit Ranma on the head with a loud crack. The mallet 
dropped on the floor. For a while Ranma just stood still. He fell on
his knees and lost his consciousness. Akane hurried to him (still
naked). "Ranma? You ok?" When Ranma didn't answer, she yelled for her
sister. Soon everyone were there and Soun carried Ranma to his room,
while Akane got dressed. Kasumi called Dr. Tofu and he said that he 
would be right there.

Akane tried the bath. It felt warm on her hand and she got in. She 
felt relaxed in the quiet bath, all alone. Soon he heard something
weird. <What's that?> The weird rumbling noise just got louder.
<I get Ranma's doing something stupid again she sighed. Suddenly,
Ryouga break trough the floor and the baththub.

"Okiwana already?" he shouted. Then he saw Akane and his nose started
bleeding heavily. "A... Akane. Gomen..." He fainted and hit his head
on the corner of the bathtub.

"Ryouga-kun!" Akane shouted and checked on him. He was unconscious.
Akane lifted him out of the tub and laid him on the floor. 
"Ryouga-kun? You allright?" Ryouga didn't answer, so Akane slapped
him. No effect. "Hmm... I guess he hit his head pretty badly...
Maybe cold water would wake him up."

Suddenly Ryougas eyes opened. "NO! No... I'm ok." he said.

"Oh... Thank god."

Ryouga saw that Akane was still naked. He started gasping and when
Akane realized that, she blushed. <This is really embarracing...
Now, where did I PUT THAT TOWEL?!>

"A... Akane..." Akane looked behind. Ranma was standing at the door
looking surprised and miserable the same time. <Oh no...>

"Hmmm..." Dr. Tofu was examining Ranma's head moving his fingers
softly. "I think he will be all right... He might sleep quite long
though." He saw the relieved expression on Akane's face. "Normal
man would have been killed from that hit, but as we both know..."
He patted on Akane's shoulder and smiled at her. "Ranma isn't an 
ordinary man. He should recover in no time."

"Thank you Tofu-sensei" Akane mumbled.

Dr. Tofu got up to his feet and left Akane sitting next to Ranma's
futon. <I hope Ranma will be all right... That was quite a bruise
he had.> He closed the door and turned to the rest of the family.
He said "There is nothing too serious about  him. He has had a lot 
worse wounds before and he has always gotten better. I'm sure that
he will be soon up to his feet and training full of pep." After that
he was going to go downdtairs, but saw a person who caught his eye 
and made his heart beat faster. "Oh, hi Kasumi-san..."

"Baka..." Akane said to sleeping Ranma. "You got it all wrong...
Ryouga just knocked his head <not as badly as you did though> and I 
was just seeing if he was OK." Akane sighed. She watched Ranma's
chest moving up and down slowly and listened to his quiet breathing.
"You better be all right." She ran her hand trough Ranma's hair. 
Akane felt terrible when she touched his bruise

"No... Please..." Akane startled when Ranma started to speak. "Come
back to me..."

"Are awake all ready?" She waited. "Ranma?"

"Akane..." Ranma said his eyes closed and Akane realized that Ranma
was sleeptalking. "Why?" Ranma waited a while before continuing.
"Ryouga... You had Akari, so why did you..." A tear made its way out
of his closed eyes. "I'm sorry Akane, that I was never enough a man
for you..."

Akane's lower lip started trembling. <Ranma... No. You got it all 
wrong.> After listening to Ranma's sobbing for a while, she whispered
in his ear "I love you, baka." She rested her head on Ranma's chest,
not wanting to leave him alone. She couldn't. Not while Ranma was 
crying. <What's wrong? You never crie.> Little by little she fell 
asleep.

It was dark. Ranma was standing next to the pond. She was in her 
girl-form once again. She desperately wanted to change back in to a 
guy. She thought it was weird. She never enjoyed being a girl, but it
usually didn't feel that bad. She headed inside the house and was 
going to ask Kasumi to boil some water for him. When she got to the
kitchen Kasumi was no where to be seen. That was weird too. She 
didn't like the feeling the house gave him.

Ranma put the kettle she had found on the stove, to realize that it 
wasnt heating up. Ranma saw a not on the table. Odd that she hadn't
noticed it before. It said that the stove was broken and the only 
place to get hot water was from the bathroom. She threw the paper
away and started stumbling towards the bathroon. Ranma froze a few 
meters from the door. She had a feeling that there was something
horrible. She definetly didn't want to go in there.

After standing there for a while, her female body started to feel 
more and more uncomfortable. Ranma wanted desperately to be a guy 
again. He was going to take the risk and to enter the bathroom
when she realized that she could get the hot water from somewhere
else. Ucchan or Shampoo would definetly help. She ran outside happy
that she didn't have to go in to the bathroom.

She jumped over the wall, but she crashed. How was that possible
she thought. What had she crashed in to? There was nothing in front
of her. She jumped again with the same results. There was something
that wanted to keep her inside the Tendo residence.

The urge to change back was growing stronger and stronger. Ranma felt
horrible, it was like someone was torturing him. She wanted to change
back so badly, but there was a little voice in her head that said not
to go in to the bathroom. Ranma jumped in to the pond to clear her 
thoughts, but it only made it worse. She had to go in to the 
bathroom. He knew he would die if she wouldnt change back soon. She
didn't know the reason, it just was as simple as that.

As she opened the bathroom, she changed back in to a guy. He sighed
in relief.

"Ryouga... Look who just came in." Akane giggled while lying naked
on Ryouga. "It's Ranma."

Ryouga looked up at him. "Heh... Sorry, but you just weren't enough
of a man for her Ranma."

Ranma felt really angry, she was his fiancée after all. He would have
propably killed Ryouga if Akane hadn't said what she said.

"He's right you know... I could never marry a half-girl that you 
are." She looked at Ranma in disgust. "You really were a perverted
crossdresser all along."

Ranma felt like someone would have pulled his heart out of his chest.
He looked down and saw that he wasnt wearing a shirt or pants 
anymore. He had a bra and womens panties on him. He felt too 
miserable even to blush. He rose his head and saw Akane and Ryouga
kissing. They holded eachother so close.

"I'm sorry Akane, that I was never enough a man for you." said Ranma
feeling ridiculous in his outfit. He turned back to walk to his room.
He felt as he was carrying tons of iron in him, because it was hard
to walk. Finally, when he opened the door he just fell in to the 
room. Luckily his normal clothes were back.

Someone giggled. "Oh Ryouga..." Ranma looked who it was. Ryouga and
Akane were in his bed. They were cuddling under his blanket. They 
were acting like he wasnt there and he surely didn't want to be there
at the moment.

"Akane!" Ranma shouted, but neither of them even blinked. "Akane,
please. Come back to me!" Ryouga and Akane laughed in the bed, still
ignoring him. He closed his eyes. "This is not happening! This is not
happening! None of this never happened! It was all my imagination!"
Now, he opened his eyes carefully. The bed was empty. He sighed and
leaned to the wall in his exhaustion. He heard something from his 
right. "No..." he whispered. He looked at the right.

There was Akane again and she was with Ryouga. They kissed. It seemed
like a forever to Ranma. He closed his eyes again and cried in anger.

Ranma opened his eyes. He stared at the ceiling for a moment. He 
feeled as he had a bad dream, but he couldn't recall any of it. Now
that he thought about it, he didn't even recognise the ceiling.
<What's going on? Where am I?> Suddenly he felt pain and saw a bright
flash in his eyes. Ranma's head felt dizzy. He touched the back of 
his head. There was a large bruise. <What... Where did that come 
from?> He laid his hand on the floor next to his. It touched 
something. <Or more like somebody>

"Ranma..?" A girl sat next to him. "You're awake. How's the head?"

Ranma got up standing and felt pain shooting trough his head. "Who
the hech 're you?"

"What?" said the girl looking confused. "Ranma, I'm sorry. Stop 
playing, OK?"

He looked her a while wondering what she was doing. Then he asked
slowly "Where am I?" He relaxed a bit and walked to the window.

"You are staying with us, remember? You... you're home."

He stopped as he heard the word 'home'. He never had a home (except,
when he was very little and he can't remember that anyways). <I don't
know what she's trying to pull on me, but this can't be my home. I'm
always on the road with pops. POPS!> "Where's my father?" Ranma 
shouted suddenly.

"Mr. Saotome? I'll go get him. Stay here, OK. You really need to 
rest."

"Wait..." Ranma said, before the girl closed the door. "Um, what's
your name?"

"Akane, you baka." Said the gir smiling and closed the door.

What was going on? How did he get here (and where was here?)? What
was with Akane and how did she know him or his father? Those and 
hunreds of other questions running in his head, he sat down. His head
was still hurting. Soon he heard steps coming outside the door. Akane
peeked in, before stepping inside, Ranma's father following her.

"Pops!" Ranma shouted and ran to him. He grabbed his fathers gi 
"What's going on old man?"

"Hey, Akane?" said Genma. "What's wrong with him?"

"I think he's just playing with us and trying to make me feel bad 
about the mallet incident."

<Mallet incident?> thought Ranma. <That explains my bruise on my 
head.> "Look, I don't know who you are" he said and looked at Akane.
"but honestly, I don't really care. Come pops, lets get outta here."

"Don't you dare to talk to your fiancée like that, Ranma!"

"Ack!" <I... I have a fiancée?> He looked at Akane looking confuced.

"I think Ranma broke the engagement yesterday" said Akane winking
at Ranma.

"WHAAAT?! You foolish boy." enraged Genma looking Ranma furiously.
"What have I done to deserve a boy who is so selfish?"

"RANMAAAAAA!!!!" said a horrible blue head that came from nowhere.
"ARE YOU REALLY GOING TO LEAVE MY DAUGHTER!? I WILL NEVER ACCEPT
THAT!"

Ranma backed a little but stopped and said "As long as I remember,
I'm not engaged to anybody and I DON'T WANT TO EITHER!"

Ranma looked at everyone, who suddenly fell completely silent. He saw
few tears in Akane's eyes. <Eep... What's wrong with her? Can...
Can I really be engaged to her?> "Um..." Ranma started, but Akane
interrupted him angrily.

"Oh yeah?!" she said and turned around. "Baka... Maybe I should just
go back with Ryouga then, huh?"

"Ryouga? Who?" He thought for a while. "Oh, the lost boy. How's he 
involved in this?"

Kasumi entered the room. "Breakfest is ready everyone..."

Everyone were silent for a while.

"Ranma, let's discuss this after the breakfest, OK?" said Genma 
calmly.

<Damn old man... Always thinking about his stomach> thought Ranma
when his stomach growled. <Well, maybe it's okay.> Ranma nodded to 
his father.

After they had eaten, they started talking and soon realized that 
Ranma had really lost his memory, or at least a part of it.

"You really don't remember anything about us, do you?" asked Akane
and Ranma shook his head.

"Well, what is the last thing you remember?"

"Yesterday we were on a training trip... He had found about this good
training ground called 'Jusenkyo'"

"So... That means, that you don't even remember..."

"Remember what?" Ranma shouted.

Akane dumped a bucket of water at him, who now turned in to a she.

"Why the hell did ya do that for?" Ranma-chan shouted. "I..." 
Suddenly she realized it. "What?" She stood up looking at herself.
"I'm a girl? Pops... What the heck is going on?"

"Well..." Genma laughed rather nervously when he saw the blue 
battle-aura emitting from Ranma. "We kinda found the Jusenkyo,
but..."

"BUT what?"

"Well, while training there you dropped in to a cursed spring and now
everytime you get cold water on you, you turn in to a girl, but hot
water reverses the whole thing... So no big deal, right?"

"No big deal eh?" Ranma said and kicked her father out of the house.
"Serves you right!" he shouted as her father landed in to a pond next
to the house.

An angry panda jumped out of the pond and attacked Ranma. "What the?"
Ranma asked as she dodged Genma-panda's moves.

The panda was holding a sign that said [Why you little...]

"Lemme guess..." said Ranma smiling at the panda. "You fell in to a 
cursed spring also?"

[Bingo]

Ranma started to laugh loudly. This only seemed to drive her father
more angry and he charged at her again. Ranma dodged and kicked her
father back to the pond. "Whoa... I have become a lot stronger
since last night!"

"It's been over a year, baka..." said Akane, who was glaring Ranma.
"Well, we should get you to Dr. Tofu."

"Who?" asked Ranma.

"Nevermind and come with me." said Akane and grabbed Ranma's hand.

"So, he doesn't remember anything since that point?" asked Dr. Tofu
at Ranma who was once again a boy.

"No..." said Akane leaning on a wall behind Dr. Tofu.

"Could you wait outside the room for a while Akane?" asked Dr. Tofu
without even looking at her.

"Uh... Sure, ok."

Akane sat on a bench in the waiting-room. She glanced nervously
at the clock. <I hope he'll be ok.> She started thinking about the 
time when Ranma had seen Ryouga and her. She couldn't help feeling
sorry for Ranma. <He had looked so miderable. He didn't even get to 
hear the truth. And his dreams yesterday...> Akanes eyes started
burning. <He cried for me many times. I guess he cares about me more
than he ever said to me.> Akane kept thinking for a while untill
she heard the door open. Dr. Tofu stepped in and closed the door 
behind him.

"Akane..."

"Do you know what it is Tofu-sensei?" Akane asked.

"It seems that he has caused his memory-loss himself."

Akane looked at him confused. "What do you mean?"

"Sometimes, when a person gets inflicted with a powerfull emotional
trauma, the mind can close the certain part of a memory. It is 
possible to get it back, but it isn't for sure. Akane, do you know
what that trauma could be?"

Akane remembered when Ranma had seen her and Ryouga... <That must be
it... But I can't say that.> "Uh, no idea."

"Well, then we just have to hope that he will cure in time. You can
try to speed the recovery up ofcourse. You could try to trigger
some parts of his brains showing him something important from his 
past."

"Ok... Thank you, Tofu-sensei."

When they walked home Akane started thinking. <Should I tell Dr Tofu,
what I think that caused the amnesia? No, I can't. Not just yet...
Weird, Ranma is completely different. He doesn't walk on the fence,
he doesn't insult me or do anything that he used to do.> She sighed
quietly. <Ranma, come back>

Ranma walked behind Akane. <Wonder, why she's being so nice to me...
I don't remember anything about this place. I wish I could understand
all this...>

The next three days were all full of surprisef for Ranma. Firstly
Shampoo came and threw herself all over him telling that she loved
her. For the new Ranma it was also his first experience of 
Akane-airlines in courtesy of her mallet. At school he found himself
surrounded by everyone asking about his amnesia. After everyone
had cleared, two boys came over to talk to him as if they were old 
pals or someting. They kept asking about Akane (and for their 
surprise Ranma kept answering without getting embarraced).

Ranma was firstly very glad when he found his childhood friend 
Ucchan, but was quite shocked when he heard that she (still thinking
that she was a he) was engaged to Ranma as well. A bigger shock came
when he heard that Ucchan was a girl. He had also been too careless
when he had met Nabiki. He would have never guessed that Nabiki would
have been after money that much.

Just as Ranma thought that nothing would surprise him more, all the
other firends came to see him. First came Kodachi who gave him a 
boquet of black roses. Luckily he threw them away before the 
paralyzing powder exploded. After her Kuno, Mousse and Ryouga all 
came to bid him farewell.

All the other free time he had, he used to train in the dojo, to 
study (with Akane assisting, because Ranma had forgotten all about
the school too) or then the whole Tendo family was trying to trigger
his memory. Honestly, he was starting to think that he didn't want
to remember anything about them...

It was the middle of the night when Akane snuck in to Ranma's room.
Ranma was sleeping in his futong. Akane sat on her knees next to him.
She sighed. <Ranma... You just aren't your self anymore. No more 
insulting me. You don't even spend nearly as much time with me as you
used to... I miss you. The Real Ranma.>

"No..." Ranma spoke in his dreams. "Ryouga... Akane..."

<It's happening again! He's dreaming about me and Ryouga... Somewhere
deep he still remembers.>

"Not a man... Sorry..."

Akane smiled at Ranma. She leaned over him. Akane's face in front
of Ranma's face, she smiled at him. Ranma was still having his 
nightmares and he was whispering Akane's name over and over again.

"Ranma... I'm right here." she leaned forward and touched his lips
with her own. Akane kissed Ranma. Akane startled at first when Ranma
responded and deepened the kiss. When they finally pulled their lips
apart, they stared eachother.

"Akane..." Ranma whispered.

"Ranma?" Akane smiled at her. "Do you remember now?"

As if he would have died, Ranma pushed Akane further and turned away.
"Few... Where's Ryouga."

"What are you talking about?" Akane asked angrily. "If your still
upset about the incident... You were mistaken, there was nothing
between us. Ryouga fell and I was just checking if he was ok. That's
all. I swear."

"Oh... you were checking on him? Without your clothes?"

"I forgot I was naked..."

"Yeah... How can somebody forget something like that? You were 
propably just trying to throw yourself at him."

"That... That's not fair!" shouted Akane.

Ranma turned at Akane going to say her something when he saw the 
tears. <Akane...>

"I was worried for you all this time and you..." Akane stood up to 
leave.

"Akane!" Ranma grabbed her hand. Their eyes met and Ranma started
speaking. "I... I believe you Akane. I'm sorry."

Ranma was surprised when Akane hugged him. They sat there, not 
talking, just holding eachother. "Ranma..."

Ranma looked like he was struggling with something and he finally
said "Akane, I... I love you!" He blushed. <What the hell were I 
thinking... No way she would feel the same way back. BAKA, BAKA!>
Ranma tried to looke everywhere, but at Akane.

Akane touched Ranma's cheeck lightly and turned his face at her. "Did
you really mean that?" Ranma nodded somewhat nervously. Akane hugged
Ranma again. "I love you too, Ranma." She could feel Ranma getting
more relaxed. They looked at eachother. Slowly they kissed. When they
stopped, they went to sleep. Together. Akane snuggled herself on her
fiancé's chest and she was happy. <Maybe everything will be better
from now on.>

When they woke up, they talked. Long.

"You were always so insensitive and insulted me all the time..."
said Akane. "But, since you have loved me quite a long time... Why 
did it take so long for you to finally admit it to me?"

"Well... I was afraid that you would reject me. That you would say 
that you didn't love me because I was half-girl. You always said that
I was a hentai, baka or a crossdresser. So, I started thinking
that maybe you really thought that way of me."

"Silly..." Akane kissed Ranma. Ranma smiled at her and kissed her a 
lot longer.

"We should go down before they start to suspect anything..."
said Ranma. "Unless you want to get married before lunch time?"

Akane smile at Ranma. "You're right. I guess we should go down for 
breakfest... Not that I wouldnt want to marry you, just that I want
to get to know you better before it."

"Me too." said Ranma and stood up.

They stepped out to the corridor and headed towards the stairs.
Akane gave Ranma one last kiss on the cheeck before they went to the
breakfest. When they saw the expressions on their fathers faces they
bouth thought <Oh no...> and looked at eachother. They sat down to 
eat their breakfest.

"Ahem..." Soun looked at them (Genma smirking happily be hind him).
"I see that you hate began to take liking on eachother. Eh, 
Ranma-kun?"

Ranma and Akane blushed.

"Don't worry... You don't have to get married immediately"
both Akane and Ranma sighed in relief. "Not untill tomorrow, 
ofcourse" Their eyes widened. "No way to back now." said Soun and 
pressed 'play' on his remotecontroller and pointed at the TV. It 
showed Ranma and Akane declaring love to eachother.

Ranma and Akane glanced at eachother. Ranma took his right arm around
Akane and said "We will get marriet Mr. Tendo," Soun smiled as all of
his dreams had come true. "but not just yet... We want to get to know
eachother a lot better. We love eachother a lot, but it's just too 
soon." Soun didn't look as happy as he did a few seconds ago, but he
nodded.

Akane and Ranma smiled at eachother. Maybe things would work out 
after all...

I wrote this story pretty fast when one day I got an idea about Ranma
being jealous for once... He took it pretty hard tough. And somewhere
I just wanted him to lose his memory (crazy head of mine). The end of
it was written even more faster and half-sleep, but I think it came
out pretty decent. This is my second fanfic so far... More to come!
