A Ranma 1/2 Alternate Universe FanFic Ryoga-chan By Lucas Liso Plot: What would the Ranma world be like if Ryoga was born as a girl? The story will begin a few days after Ranma comes back from China, about the same time that Ryoga shows up. That's because about everything else till that point happened exactly the same way. (NOTE: English is my second language, but I'm pretty good at it, so you'll be able to read this.) Anyway, on with the story. Ryoga-chan, Chapter 1: The bell of the village was warning everybody of the upcoming danger. "Everybody take cover! A wild hog!" Yelled a man on the watch tower. The hog was huge, about two meters tall, and was rampaging trough everything. A young girl wearing a yellow shirt, and black pants was walking calmly with her back at the hog. She had long black hair, reaching down half her back, she was wearing a yellow and black ribbon, tied up just like Kasumi's (She doesn't know Kasumi yet, I'm using her so you can get a better mental picture of how the girl looks like :). Her eyes were also black, and her face was very pretty. She was carrying a yellow camping bag in her right arm, the bag had a red umbrella on it. She didn't notice the coming hog. "Hey! You! Over the road! Watch out!" The girl slowly turned around, and looked at the coming hog. She wasn't afraid of it, in fact, she just took her umbrella with her right hand, and at the right moment ... SWOP! The girl stopped the hog with just her umbrella, then she moved it and the hog went flying up and far away. "Did ... did you see that? She defeated the hog with just one hand!" commented one of the villagers. "Yeah ... let's go see if she's ok." Answered another one. A group of villagers walked towards the girl. "Are you alright?" The girl slowly turned her head, and handed them a little map. "Where is Furinkan High?" She asked. One of the villagers looked at the map, then at the girl, "But ... this is a map of Tokyo!" "I know ... is it far away from here?" The girl asked, she sounded almost defeated. "This is the island of Shikoku!" "Oh ... I see ... sorry to bother you." The girl picked up the map and her bag, and walked away. You'll see Ranma, she tough, I'll find you soon! A week later, at the entrance of Furinkan High. The girl was standing in the front door, looking at the boys and girls walking out of school, then she saw the sign, it read 'Furinkan High School', yes, she was finally here. "Excuse me," She asked a passing by girl, "Does Ranma Saotome come to this school?" "Huh? Ranma? Sure ... he's over there." The girl answered and pointed at the two persons walking (Or rather running) out of school. Ranma and Akane were fighting the usual way outside the school. "Ranma! Come back here!" "You'll have to catch me first." Suddenly, Ranma felt danger, jumping backwards, he dodged the girl with an umbrella. "Ranma Saotome, at last I found you." "Huh?" Ranma stared at the girl, a red umbrella on one hand and a yellow camping-bag on the other hand. "Hum ... do I know you?" Ranma said. The girl almost face faulted, "What do you mean 'do I know you?' I'm Ryoga Hibiki!" "Who's that Ranma?" Akane asked him. "Ryoga ... Ryoga ... AH! Now I remember, we were friends in my old neighborhood." "Yes that's right ... and my question is ... WHY DIDN'T YOU STAY AND MARRY ME!" Everybody looked at her in shock. "Ranmaaaa ... what's she talking about!?" Akane said, getting more and more angry by the minute. "I have no idea ... I never said I wanted to marry her." "So your dad didn't told you, hu? Well, in that case I will! Your dad arranged it with my dad after he took all of our food, then the two of you left for China!" "Pop!? Pop did that!? Why I'm gonna kill him when I get back!" "I don't care, I followed you here so we can get married. I don't hate you, I just attacked you so I could get your attention." Ranma realized he was in a little trouble. What could he possibly say to get out of this mess? Suddenly an idea came to his mind. "Well, you see, the reason I can't marry you is that I already have a fiance. This girl here, Akane Tendo." "Now wait a darn minute ..." Akane said, not too happy with the thing that Ranma just said. "Come on ... give me a hand here." "Don't joke with me, I don't want to be a part of your mess." "Engaged ... with you?" Ryoga said while pointing at Akane. "Alright then ..." Ryoga opened her umbrella and tossed it at Akane, she and Ranma dodged it by an inch, then it turned around and returned to Ryoga's hand. "What are you doing? Are you nuts?" Akane said. "Akane Tendo ... I will defeat you and take Ranma away from you ... fight!" Ryoga ran towards Akane, she jumped up to avoid her, but Ryoga didn't notice. She kept going and ran through the school, and through the building behind the school, and through the building behind the building behind the school ... and so on. "What's her problem?" One of the kids said. "Well, she's an excellent fighter, but has this terrible sense of direction." Ranma answered. "Ranma! Look at the mess you got me into! She seems a lot stronger than me! How am I going to beat her if she comes back!?" Akane said, landing next to Ranma. "Well ... you have a week or so to do some training, she gets lost all the time." "RANMAAAA!" Akane punched Ranma who flew long and hi. End of Chapter 1 This is the first Chapter, it's an introductory Chapter for the ones that will soon come. Ryoga-chan, Chapter 2: A forest near mount Fuji. Ryoga was walking trough it, she looked annoyed. "Akane Tendo ... how dare you take MY Ranma away from me ... after so many years of shyness with him ... when I finally get engaged to him you show up! Well ... not for long! You'll see! I'll defeat you!" She looked around, "If I can find my way that is." Tendo Dojo. "POP! COME HERE!" Genma heard his son's voice, and was about to walk away when Ranma stopped him, grabbing him by the collar. "You have been avoiding me since I told you about Ryoga ... now you are going to tell me!" "Yeah! And me too!" Akane added. "Alright ... alright ... you win ..." Genma said, and sat down. "It happened when you and me were about to go away to China. I tough that we needed food, but we didn't have any, so I engaged you to Ryoga if her family gave us all of the food they had at the moment, and they agreed." POW! Genma went out trough the roof after Ranma punched him, "How could YOU have done that to me and poor Ryoga!" "Ranma ... why don't you tell me something about this Ryoga girl." Akane asked. "Well ... there's nothing much to say ... She went to an all-girls school and I went to an all-boys school." "All-boys school?" Akane seemed a little shocked. "Back then I was a boy all the time! Anyway ... we were neighbors so we ended up being good friends ... I used to walk her to her school and then back to her house because she used to get lost so many times." "She IS good looking isn't she." Akane commented with a peculiar look on her face. "HEY! What do you mean! We were just friends! That's it!" "Whatever ..." Ranma was about to answer when Kasumi interrupted them. "Akane ... this letter came for you, It's from a girl named Ryoga Hibiki." "Huh?" Akane took the letter and read it. "It's a challenge letter ... but the date it's yesterday's." "Don't worry ... I told you she gets lost all the time ... she wont be here for a week or so. You better start training, she is quite good." "Yeah ... I KNOW!" She answered with an angry look at Ranma who gave her a nervous smile. A week later, at the soccer field of Furinkan High School. Ryoga was standing on one side of the field, her umbrella on her right hand. Akane was on the other side wearing her white gi. Everybody else was around the field, including Ranma, who was there to watch the fight and Nabiki, who was placing bets. "So Akane Tendo, you agreed to my challenge." "I'm not doing this for Ranma! I just want you out of my life." "Don't worry, pretty soon you won't have a life to call your own." Ryoga tossed her umbrella towards Akane, who dodged it and jumped towards Ryoga. Then the two began exchanging a series of kicks and punches. "Wow! She's good, I wonder if Akane can beat her?" Ranma said, sitting on the side of the field. "Hummf ... what's this thing made of?" Ranma turned around when he heard a kid behind him, trying to lift Ryoga's umbrella. He couldn't budge it. "Let me try." Ranma walked towards the umbrella, and lifted it, it was HEAVY. And ... and she carried it with just one hand?, Ranma thought. Those two aren't at the same level! "Hey Akane! Watch out! She's too strong for you!" Ranma yelled at Akane. "Are you saying that I'm weak!?" Akane said while avoiding one of Ryoga's roundhouse kicks. "Hum ... alright, let her bash you ... se if I care!" "Hum ... well I don't care either!" "Shut up! The fight's with me!" Ryoga said, launching another punch at Akane, who avoided it. "YHAAAA!" Akane let out a battle cry and kicked Ryoga with all her might, that one-week training really paid off. Ryoga fled towards one side of the field and turned around to see Akane who was jumping towards her with a kick. She was right next to her umbrella so she picked it up and used it to shield herself from Akane's kick. Also she used the momentum to toss Akane up and over to the other side of the wire fence. Akane landed there with a crouch and turned around to see Ryoga who had broken down a hole in the wire fence and running towards her. Now they began a running fight towards the park. "They’re heading to the park! Let's go after them!" Ranma said and began running towards the park followed by the other students. At the park, Ryoga was using her almost infinite amount of ribbons to toss them at Akane, using them as shurikens, Akane avoided all of them. "You are better than I thought. Well, let's see if this works!" Ryoga took off her belt and pressed it hard, suddenly it became a blade. "You want weapons! You got them!" Akane said and took out a big hammer. The two girls ran towards each other, Akane used her hammer to make Ryoga lose her grip on her belt and it went flying up then fell down and cut Akane's hair. When that happened Akane was stunned. "Got you!" Ryoga tried to use that as an advantage, but Akane went into a state of total rage at Ryoga, and knocked her senseless with her hammer. "WAAAA!!!!" Akane dropped her hammer and ran away, crying. "Akane ... wait ... what's wrong with her?" Asked Ranma to no one in particular. "What do you mean 'what's wrong with her?' she just lost her hair! You know how long it took her to get it to grow that long!?" A girl from the crowd answered. "Hum ... I see ... I better go talk to her." Ranma answered and ran in the direction that Akane ran a few moments ago. "Huuuuu ... my head" Everybody turned around to see Ryoga waking up. "Damn! I lost!" She said and picked up her umbrella, "But you'll wait and see Akane Tendo! This is not the last time we'll fight!" She said to the air, and ran away. "Now this is a fascinating turn of events." Nabiki said after hearing Ryoga. End of Chapter 2. Well, another Chapter is done (they are kind of short aren't they? Chapter 3: Akane was sitting in her room, she was still wearing her white gi from the fight with Ryoga, and she was still crying. And remembering ... A very little Akane is coming out of Dr. Tofu's clinic. "Good bye Akane, and try to be more careful." "I will, thank you Dr. Tofu!" Kasumi comes and Dr. Tofu's glasses fog up. "Hi Akane." "Hi Kasumi!" "Were you fighting again?" Akane hung her head, "Hum ... yes ..." Kasumi looks at Dr. Tofu again, "Thank you for taking care of her." "Wha ... hum ... yes ... no ... I mean ... Ehhhhh ..." Akane and Kasumi are walking back home. "Akane, you look like a boy, you should try and be more feminine. Or else Dr. Tofu wont like you anymore." If ... If I had long hair ... maybe Dr. Tofu would look at me the way he looks at Kasumi. Akane tough. TOC, TOC. Akane looks up as she hears a knock at her window, Ranma is hanging upside down from the roof. Akane opens the window, "Hum ... hi." He manages to say. "You tough I was crying from the hair?" "Hum ... yes ..." "Well, I don't really care. SO GO AWAY AND LEAVE ME ALONE!" CRASH! Akane throws her reading lamp to Ranma's face. In the kitchen. Kasumi is cooking, when Akane walks in. "Oh, hi Akane ... I didn't hear you coming in." When Kasumi looks at Akane, she throws the frying pan that she was cooking with, but Ranma zooms in to catch everything. "A ... Akane ... what happened to your hair!?" "I was in the mood for a little change, that's all ... could you cut it for me Kasumi?" A while later, Ranma is sitting at the roof of the dojo, holding Akane's hair that fell at the fight with Ryoga. "I ... I should say something to her ..." With that in mind, he jumped off and ran to the doctor's as Kasumi said that she left a while ago, something about her arm bothering her. "Hey! Akane!" Ranma jumps in front of a girl walking in the streets, then turns around. "Sorry, I tough you were someone else ..." "Who are you looking for?" Ranma turns around at the familiar voice, and turns around again, the girl he saw was indeed Akane, with her hair shorter. "Akane?" "What? You just realized?" "Hum ... I ... I'm sorry." "About what ... it wasn't your fault anyway. It was my fight and I was careless." "But ... Ryoga just wanted to fight you because ..." "I said it's ok. I was thinking about cutting my hair anyway." "Sure you are ok? Why are you going to the doctor's?" "Well, if you must know, when I fought Ryoga I used my right arm to cover from her punches. I guess she was too strong and now my arm hurts, that's all." A few moments later, they both arrive at Dr. Tofu's clinic. "Hello Dr. Tofu." "Why Akane! You cut your hair again?" "Yes." Again? Ranma tough. Akane was sitting on a chair while Dr. Tofu was checking her arm. "Hmm ... It's just a bruise ... I'll put a balm on and it'll be fine." As he begins applying the balm, Akane asks him a question. "Dr. Tofu ... do you like my hair this way?" "Yes, you look very nice. It reminds me when you were a little girl." "Yes, that's true." Suddenly, Dr. Tofu notices that Akane was crying. "I'm sorry, does it hurt that much?" "N ... No ... it's not that ... it's something else." Dr. Tofu sits down next to Akane and puts his arm around her. "What's wrong?" Akane looks up, then she breaks into tears. Later, she and Ranma are walking back home. "Ahh ... nothing like a good cry to feel better." Akane turns around, "Ranma?" Ranma was turning his back at her, "The doctor said that you looked nice with your hair short ... its that why you are so happy?" "No. That's not it. He's in love with Kasumi, not me." "....." "But that's ok, I'm over it." Ranma walks in front of Akane, "I ... I also think that you look nice with your hair short." Akane almost face faults at this, "What? What's the matter now!?" Ranma asks. "Are you feeling alright?" "Of course I am!" "You are acting weird, I don't need you to cheer me up." "It wasn't that! Alright then, you are horrible! Are you happy now!?" "I know that you don't think I'm nice." "Actually, you look better with your hair short ..." Akane turns around and looks at Ranma who's standing on the wire fence. "Hum ... forget it ... what I think doesn't matter." He mutters out. "Ranma ..." Ranma turns around to look at Akane. "Thank you ... even if you don't mean it ..." "Huh?" She ... she's smiling ... she's actually smiling ... she looks cute when she does that ... Ranma is loose in his toughs when suddenly, Akane pushes him down to the water below. SLASH! "Akane! Why did you do that!?" "Ha, ha, ha. So you don't feel guilty, now we are even." "Un-cute!" "Jerk!" Meanwhile, in okinawa. Ryoga is walking through the beach, she's carrying her yellow camping bag and her red umbrella. "Just you wait Akane Tendo! As soon as find the Dojo were you live, we'll finish our duel!" A girl, carrying a yellow camping bag with her left hand and a red umbrella with the right hand was walking trough the streets. She was using the umbrella to cover herself from the rain, as she was walking she was talking to herself. "Dojo ... Tendo ... I'm here! Finally! After looking for this place for a week!" She stops at the front door of the dojo. "Today Akane Tendo, we'll finish our duel, and we'll see who's Ranma's rightful fiancé!" In Akane's room, she was sleeping as her window opens and Ryoga walks in. Ryoga closes her umbrella and walks towards Akane, she's about to bash her in the head when suddenly Akane hits her in the gut with her left fist. "OW! Is she awake?" Then Ryoga notices that Akane is still asleep, "I see ... she's one of those persons that moves too much when they are asleep ... in that case ..." Ryoga walks towards Akane again, and when she's about to hit her again, Ryoga catches her arm, and throws Akane out the window and into the rain. "WAKE UP!" Outside, the rain and Ryoga's scream had woken Akane up, and she spins in the air and lands with a stand. "What's going on here!?" Akane looks around, she notices a few things, she's outside her house, it's raining, and she's only wearing her pajamas. "Hello Akane." Akane turns around and looks how Ryoga jumps down from her room and lands with a stand in front of her, she's using her umbrella to cover herself from the rain. "Ryoga!? You again!?" "Yes, me again! And you'll be seeing me until Ranma is MY husband!" "Why are you so nuts about him anyway! He's just a jerk!" "Don't talk about him like that!" Ryoga runs towards Akane, who covers and hits back. This time Akane find's it easier to fight Ryoga since she's using her umbrella to cover herself from the rain. Why is she so worried about a little rain anyway? Akane asks herself. Back in the house. Knock, knock. Ranma hears the knocks at the door and wakes up, his father next to him, is still in a deep sleep. A little lazily, he walks at the door and opens it. "Huh? Kasumi? What's wrong? It's late." "I know ... but I heard strange noises coming from the garden!" "So?" "So, you are the man of the house, go out and check it out." "Ok, ok ... go back to your room, I'll check it out." Outside, Akane and Ryoga are still fighting, Akane is trying to talk to Ryoga while she's fighting. "I still don'y know why are you so crazy about Ranma anyway." "I love him, that's all! I even followed him to China when he left, to that strange training ground." "Jusenkyo? You went to Jusenkyo? And what do you turn into?" "That's none of your business!?" Ryoga is now even angrier at Akane, but she keeps dodging every single blow. Suddenly, she hears a battle cry from behind, and turns around for it to be too late. Ranma hits her fully on the head, and she flies towards the koi pond, dropping her umbrella. "HA! Got you!" "Ranma! What are you doing! You just hit Ryoga!" Akane screamed at him. "What!? Ryoga!? Ooops ... I tough it was some burglar or something ... it's she ok?" Akane looks at the koi pond, Ryoga's clothes are floating there, but no sign of her. Just a little white piglet with a yellow and black ribbon tied on her neck. Could it be? Akane asked herself. "Well ... I don't see her any were ... so I guess she's ok ... I'm going back inside." Ranma said and walked back inside. "Are you coming Akane?" "In ... in a minute." She answered. Ranma just nodded and walked back in. When he was out of sight, Akane walked towards the little white piglet and picked it up, the piglet was shaking to get free. "Now, Ryoga! I know it's you ... now be still and let's go inside so you can transform back." Ryoga fussed a little bit, then calmed down. "Now, that's better." Akane walked into the house, ten upstairs and into the bath room, after getting undressed in the changing room, she stepped in, still holding her in her arms. She was thinking of taking a bath too, after all she was fighting in the rain and she didn't want to get sick. "And here you go!" Kneeling besides the furo, Akane dropped Ryoga into it. The hot water started to bubble up, and a few seconds later, Ryoga emerged. "I'M GONNA KILL YOU!" Ryoga throws a punch at Akane, who catches it with her right hand. "Ryoga ... isn't this a little awkward place to fight?" Ryoga looks at herself and her surroundings, yeah ... Akane had a point, so she calmed down and decided to talk. "Now ... I see that it was true that little story of yours about going to Jusenkyo ... care to tell me what happened?" Akane asked while she took a small plastic cup and poured herself with some water, then she started to scrub herself. "Ok ... I followed Ranma to China, like I said before. One morning, I was standing on the ledge of a cliff when suddenly, a big panda and a strange girl appeared from nowhere and knocked me down and into the springs below." A panda and a girl? Could it be ... Akane tough. "When I came up from the spring ... I was that small white piglet you saw before ... It's really a lot of trouble ... from that day on, everybody tries to eat me when I'm in my cursed form!" "I see ... Ryoga, you should know that ..." Criiiii. The bathroom door opens and a big panda is there. The two girls turn to see him, then it holds up a sign that reads 'Sorry, I didn't know you were here.' And then leaves. "A ... a panda?" Ryoga asks Akane. Akane sighs and pours another bucket of water on herself. "Yup ... you see ... the panda and the girl that you saw in Jusenkyo ..." 'What about it?" "The panda is really Mr. Saotome, he also has a curse." "I see." "That's not all of it ... the girl you saw, was Ranma, he also has a curse that turns him into a girl." "What!? You mean that Ranma is responsible of me to fall into ...." Akane nods, "See? You shouldn't marry Ranma, he just thinks about himself, and ... Ryoga? Ryoga, are you listening?" Ryoga then smiles, "Now this are good news! I can get him to marry me out of guilt for dropping me into the spring!" "Eh!?" Well, things really didn't go as I planned them. Akane tough. "You heard me! It's your fault I have a curse, so you have to take responsibility and marry me." "But I don't even remember seeing you in Jusenkyo!" "I don't care." Ranma was trying to think of a fast way out of this. "Look Ryoga ... I just can't marry you ... I mean ... I'm sorry if I push you into that cursed spring ... but you can't ask me to marry you out of guilt." "So ... so you aren't going to take responsibility." Ryoga's eyes began to fill up with tears. "It's not that! It's not that! I hum ... I just ... ehhhhh ..." Ryoga's face lit up, "So you ARE going to marry me?" "Hum ... well ... I ... hum ..." "RANMA YOU JERK!!" WHAM! Akane shows up and punches Ranma out and trough the roof. How dare he even consider marrying Ryoga! She tough to herself. Ranma flies up, and up, and up. That un-cute tomboy ... I didn't do anything ... did she had to punch me that hard? Ranma stared at the mid morning sky from his point of view, and suddenly came to the realization that he is beginning to change direction. And given the circumstances, the only direction he can change to is DOWN. "Well ... at least I'm gonna fall in the park's lake ..." He said to himself, a few seconds later a big splash filled the air, and a wet onna-Ranma climbed out of the lake. "Well ... I guess I should head back to the dojo ... I just hope Akane calms down when I get there ..." A few minutes later, Ranma walks near an empty lot, and a few curious sounds catch his attention. She jumps on the wall and looks at the scene before her. Three girls with bandages all over are surrounding a girl with long black hair and a school dress. "So, you are from Furinkan High School?" The girl with the black hair said, "The fight wont be until next week." "Shut up! It's all your fault!" One of the bandaged girls said, "you ambushed us and now we can't participate on the tournament!" "We'll defeat you here and now!" Another one said. "Fight!" The third one jumped toward the black haired girl, the three were holding a gymnastic club. "So, I have to get rough on you huh?" The girl with black hair produces a gymnastic ribbon and uses to whip at the three girls, disarming them, and making them drop to their knees. "Take that! And that! And that!" After defeating them, she keeps attacking them mercilessly. Suddenly something stops her ribbon, as Ranma jumps in front of them and catches it with just her right hand. "Enough ... you won already." "You ... you stopped my ribbon. You are not an ordinary girl are you." "No, I'm not." "Well, if you wish to challenge me ... then prepare to be defeated!" Kodachi picks up a gymnastic club and attacks Ranma, who just crouches and kicks the girls legs. The girl with black hair is about to fall face first, but then she back flips and lands with a stand. The two turn around to face each other. "You are pretty strong ... I'm Kodachi Kuno, the Black Rose of Saint Hebereke High School for girls, you better remember that!" With that, she throws Ranma a black rose and jumps out of the empty field laughing a bone chilling kind of laugh. "Whaaa! She beat us!" Ranma turns around to look at the three girls. "Are you ok?" "No, we were supposed to beat her." "We are the gymnastic team of Furinkan High School!" Huh? I know this girls. They are all from my classroom. Ranma tough to herself. A while later, back at the Tendo Dojo. Everybody (The three bandaged girls and Ranma in girl form) were in Akane's room, talking to the youngest Tendo sister. "Akane! You have to help us!" "What? What happened?" "All the girls of the gymnastic school team got ambushed and now none of us can enter the contest." "And you want me to enter the contest?" "Please Akane! You are our only hope! You fight using the tools of Rhythm Gymnastics." "Excuse me ... I can't find the exit." A familiar voice came from the door. All the girls turned to look at Ryoga who was standing there, she seemed lost. "Ryoga? You are still here? Why it seems like you get lost just by going to the bath room." Akane commented. "Humf ... shut up Akane!" "Now I remember!" All turn to look at the speaker, Ranma. "Combat Gymnastics! That was Ryoga's specialty back in mid school." Ryoga smiled at Ranma, "Ranma, you remember? How nice of you." "You have experience on this?" One of the girls asked Ryoga. "Huh? Who me? Sure, I was captain of my school team of Combat Gymnastics." "Great! How would you like to enter the contest for us!" "Huh?" "Now wait a minute! I tough that you wanted ME to enter the contest!?" Akane interrupted. "Hum ... well Akane ... You ARE strong ... but we would really rather have an experienced girl in this." "Humf!" Akane turned her head away. "I have an Idea, why don't you BOTH enter the contest." Ranma commented. Ryoga turned to look at Akane who also turned to look at Ryoga. "Yes! I think that's an excellent idea!" One of the bandaged girls said. "Now wait I minute, I'm not saying that ..." Akane was about to continue when Ryoga interrupted her. "It's ok Akane. If you are too afraid to enter the contest, it'll be more than enough with me." Ryoga said, this contest was a great opportunity for her to impress Ranma. Now everybody turned to look at Akane, who was staring at Ryoga with a furious stare. Ryoga was looking at her mockingly. "All right Ryoga! You asked fort it ... I'll enter the stupid contest!" "Great! Now we have a team again!" One of the bandaged girls said, as the three now looked even happier. Ranma looked at Ryoga, then at Akane, then back at Ryoga. Maybe this wasn't a very good idea after all. An hour later, inside the Tendo Dojo. Ranma (Back in male form) is sitting near a wall watching the two girls. They have a few tools of Rhythm Gymnastics around them, basically a pair of Gymnastic ribbons, a pair of Gymnastic balls, a pair of Gymnastic rings and four Gymnastic clubs. Akane was wearing a white leotard with a blue neck. Ryoga was wearing a pink leotard with a red neck. "Now Akane, since you have no experience in this, I'm going to train you so you could be ready for the match next week." "And I suppose that you are just DYING to do that." Ryoga didn't answer to that, she just picked up a ribbon and whipped it at Akane several times, Akane managed to dodge some of them, but she got tangled with the ribbon. "Why you ..." "First of all ... you can't use your fists or legs, all the fighting has to be done with the instruments of Rhythm Gymnastics." Ranma sighted, yes, this was going to be a LOOOONG week, he better stay with these two and make sure that they don't kill each other. Meanwhile, at the streets of Nerima, or more exactly, the roof tops. Kodachi was jumping from roof top to roof top, she was wearing a heavy coat and a hood that covered almost all of her body except for her face. "So, Furinkan High School has new team members? Akane was on all fours on the dojo floor, her ribbon tied around her. A few feet away, Ryoga was standing, just watching her, spinning her ribbon around. "Kodachi wont need to defeat you ... you'll defeat yourself." She said with a grin. "Shut up you pig girl!" Akane answered, standing up and untangling the ribbon from around her. "Hum ... why don't you two call it a day?" Ranma commented from his watching spot siting against a wall. "Ok, I'll see you tomorrow Akane." Ryoga walked into the house, "I'll just get changed." Ranma watched Ryoga walk into the house, when she was out of sight, he walked towards Akane. "Akane ... why don't you just let it go ... Ryoga can win that stupid contest all by herself." "Leave me alone Ranma, I can take care of myself!" With that Akane walked to the house. Later, in the bath room, Akane was taking a relaxing dip in the hoyt water of the furo. She let out a sigh when the water relaxed all her sore muscles. "This is one big mess ... why did I enter this stupid contest anyway ... to compete against Ryoga? That's stupid ... maybe Ranma is right ... I should quit." A few minutes later, Akane is dressed in her pajamas and walks into her room, then she drops on the bed. "Huf ... I'm soooo tired ... I just want to go to sleep ..." She turns around and looks at the ceiling, a girl with a black leotard and black hair is hanging from the ceiling, with a HUGE hammer on her back. "Akane Tendo! Prepare yourself!" With that, the girl drops on Akane with her hammer ready, missing her by a whisker. Akane jumps and lands on a battle ready stance. "Who are you!" "My name is Kodachi, I'm the Black Rose o Saint Hebereke High School for girls, I'll be one of your opponents next week." Kodachi swings her hammer at Akane again, she jumps out of the way and lands with a stand. "You! You ambushed those girls!" "Ambush? You got it all wrong, It's just that I always fight with all my might BEFORE the match." "Cut the crap!" Akane jumps towards Kodachi with a kick, but she avoids her with a jump, landing next to the door, she spins around and raises her hammer for another blow ... BLAM! And the door opens slamming her right on the face. "Hum ... It's this the bath room? I'm lost" Ryoga was standing at the door, still wearing her leotard. "Ryoga? You are still here?" "Akane? What are you doing in the bath room?" "This is my room!" "Oh ... well, I'll go look for the bath room." Ryoga walks out of the room and closes the door. "That girl ..." Suddenly, Akane senses danger and turns around just in time to avoid getting hit by Kodachi's hammer. With a kick she makes her drop the weapon. "So, you are as strong as they say. I wonder if your teammate Ryoga Hibiki is also as strong." Akane smiles, "Like you have no idea." "I don't care! Our team will defeat yours!" With that, Kodachi takes out a ribbon and spins it around, making a huge wave of black petals cover up the room, then jumps out the window. "Kodachi ... I'll get you for this in the tournament! You'll see!" Outside, on the rooftop of the dojo. "Akane Tendo ... she is strong ... I have to deal with her later ... now I better go find that Ryoga girl." She jumps down, and falls right on Ranma. Well, Ranma's arms to be more precise. "Huh? Do I know you from somewhere?" Ranma asks when he notices the girl in his arms. She does seem familiar. He ... he's so handsome. Kodachi thinks to herself. "What's your name?" She asks in an innocent tone. "R... Ranma ... Saotome." "Here, take this." Kodachi gives Ranma a bouquet of black roses. POOOF! Suddenly, a cloud of dust comes out from them, and on Ranma's face. "Ha, ha! The bouquet had a paralyzing chemical in it." "What? Who do you think you ..." "My dear Ranma!" Kodachi drops on Ranma, her face closer and closer to his. "Take my lips!" SWAP! SWAP! SWAP! Kodaci has to jump away as three ribbon shurikens almost hit her. She spins around and looks at her attacker. "How dare you interfere!" Ryoga, still wearing her leotard, is looking angrily at Kodachi a few feet away. "ME!? How dare YOU try to kiss MY Ranma!" "Your Ranma? Who are you?" "I'm Ryoga Hihiki." "So, you are Ryoga. I'm Kodachi, the Balck Rose, we'll see each other in the tournament!" Kodachi tosses Ryoga a black rose, and jumps away, with her bone chilling laugh. Kodachi ... so YOU are going to be my opponent in the contest! I'll get you for this! Ryoga then walks away, back into the house. A few hours later. "Cold! Can somebody please come here!" Ranma is still paralyzed, lying on the ground, a few feet away from the koi pond. "Well, at least is not raining." BROOOM! Heavy rain begins to shower on Nerima. "I just HAD to open my mouth." A very cold, wet and angry onna-Ranma stares at the late night sky. End of Chapter 6. "Ranma, help me!" Ranma turned around when he heard the voice of Kodachi as she ran towards him and hid behind him. A second later, Ryoga, looking very angry, with her red umbrella in one hand, jumps in the school compound. "Kodachi! You coward! How dare you hide from me!" "Ryoga! What are you doing? Why are you after Kodachi, the match is next week." Akane asked. "I KNOW! But she tried to ambush me while I was sleeping!" "Ambush you? Why I was just going to wake you up." "Yeah, right." None of them notice Kuno walking towards them. "My beautiful Akane, your elegance in gymnastic is stuck in my mind, with this flowers I'll wish you luck, huh?" Kuno notices Kodachi hugging Ranma from behind. "Hmmm? All right, you have my permission." He says to the two. "What!?" "Oh, Ranma! I'm so happy!" Ranma turns to face Kodachi, "Now wait a minute! Who told you that I wanted to ..." Kodachi's eyes got filled with tears. "Are you dumping me!!!?" "Eh ... hum ... is not that ... it's just that I ... hum ... I'm engaged to Akane." "Ranma! Again you are using that as an excuse!?" "Yeah! Besides, you are engaged to ME!" Ryoga screams out. "So ... engaged, huh? Interesting" Everybody turns to look at Kodachi when she speaks. "In that case, the one that wins the tournament, wins Ranma." "Fine, Let's do that!" Answered Ryoga. Kodachi turned to look at Ranma, "Ranma, my love, after the tournament, you'll be mine." Then Kodachi produces a gymnastic ribbon and spins it around making that stupid black petal trick, and jumps away, laughing. Kuno walks to Ranma "She is a little weird, but still Ranma, take good care of my sister." "YOUR sister!?" "Yes ... I shouldn't tell you this ... but she is a cheater and back-stabbing person, she'll do anything to get what she wants." Kuno then walks away and to the school. "Kuno's little sister ..." Akane mutters out. "Yeah ... I can see the family resemblance." Adds Ryoga. One week later, the night after the tournament. Inside the Tendo Dojo. Akane is practicing alone, using the ribbon, she uses it to whip at Ranma who's just sitting watching her. Ranma jumps out of the way, and Akane tries to hit him with the ball. Missing just barely. "Gee, Akane, you have really improved!" "Don't get this wrong! I'm not doing this for you!" "Cool it! I know!" "Anyway ... I haven't seen Ryoga for three days now ... were is she? The match is tomorrow." Then the two turn at the door when they heard a small squeak from a small white piglet with a yellow and black ribbon, standing right at the dojo door. "Oh ... hi Ryoga." Akane manages to say. "Were have you been all this days ... huh?" Ranma notices the two little boxes that Ryoga is carrying, and picks them up. "Manjyuu muffins from Hiroshima ... and Yatsuhashi cookies from Kyoto." Akane picks Ryoga up, "Gee Ryoga, you shouldn't travel so much when you have no sense of direction." Ryoga bites Akane's finger. BONK! Akane hits Ryoga. "We don't have time for this! Now, let's go inside! We have a big day tomorrow! And I'm sure you don't want to lose either!" Akane, still carrying Ryoga, walks into the house. Ranma watches her walk in, "Tomorrow's match is definitely going to be interesting." Then he stands up and walks in too. The night passes by with no further incidents, Ryoga decides to spend the night with the Tendos so she wont get lost for tomorrows match. After breakfast, Akane and Ryoga walk to Saint Hebereke High School. They meet with Kodachi at their way to the dressing rooms, she is in the company of a girl with short brown hair and brown eyes. "Why Akane, Ryoga ... good luck. I'll would like to introduce Ayumi Takashi, she's the best gymnastic of our school, second only to me. She will be my partner in out Two-on-two match." The girl besides Kodachi makes a polite vow, "I'm Ayumi Takashi ... nice to meet you." Then Kodachi walks to her dressing rooms, and Ayumi follows her, "Good luck you two ... break a leg, HOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO!!!" Akane and Ryoga blinks a few times, "That laugh gives me the creeps." "Yeah." Inside the visitor's changing room, Akane and Ryoga are getting changed into their leotards. "So Akane ... if I know this right ... whoever wins this, gets Ranma, right?" "Yeah ... so?" "That means that if I beat Kodachi AND you, then Ranma will be mine!" "Huh? That was your plan from the beginning! Wasn't it!" Ryoga doesn't answer, she just smiles at Akane, a very mean looking smile. Akane stares at Ryoaga angrily. There's no way I'm going to lose this fight ... not with Kodachi ... not with Ryoga ... no with anybody! She thinks to herself. A few minutes later, in the second gymnastic room of the school, were they have set up a ring for the fight. The referee is standing in the middle of the ring, with a mike in her right hand. "The combatants, please step into the ring!" From one side of the ring, Kodachi, wearing her black leotard, and Ayumi, wearing the standard green leotard of Saint Hebereke High School steps into the ring. "Representing Saint Hebereke, the undefeated champion, Kodachi Kuno! And Ayumi Takashi!" The crowd cheers the two girls. Then Ryoga, with her pink leotard, and Akane, wearing her white leotard, steps on the ring. "Don't get in my way pig girl!" "Who are you calling pig girl you tomboy!" In the crowd we can see Genma, in panda form, and Ranma, in male form, sitting watching the soon to come fight. Genma is eating crackers and drinking tea. "They don't look like a team at all." Ranma mutters out. The referee points at Akane and Ryoga, "And representing Furinkan High School! Akane Tendo and Ryoga Hibiki!" The boys from Furinkan High School all cheer them. "Opponents at the center of the ring please." Ryoga, Akane, Kodachi and Ayumi walk to the center of the ring. "Alright, this will be a two on two fight, you know the rules, a team member stays out of the ring while other fights, they can switch places by slapping hands. You can only attack your opponent with the tools of Rhythm Gymnastics, if the fighting member of the team falls off the ring, gets knocked out, or uses her hands or legs to attack, then that team loses." The four girls nodded. "Now, to decide who begins, Saint Hebereke Team, call it in the air." The referee takes out a coin and tosses it up. "Heads!" Kodachi says. The referee catches the coin and sees it, "Heads it is, Saint Hebereke decides who begins." "To begin the match, for our school I'll begin." "Okay, so Kodachi will start the match, and who will be your oponent?" Kodachi gives out a evil smile, "Akane Tendo." "Very well, the two members that will not fight, please take your places at the corners of the ring side." "Good luck Kodachi." Ayumi says as she walks to her corner. "See ya Akane, I hope she doesn't kill you, ha ha ha ha!" Ryoga laughs as she also walks to her corner. "Shut up Ryoga!" Akane answers. The referee looks at the two corners, and when she sees that they are both out of the ring, she gets ready to start the fight. End of Chapter 7. I really liked how this chapter went out. Chapter 8: Saint Hebereke High School. Second gymnastic room. "Begin!" As the referee gives out the order, the two combatants, Akane and Kodachi, get ready. At the corners of the ring side, Ayumi, Kodachi's partner, and Ryoga are watching the fight, waiting for their turns to enter. Akane grabs her ribbon, and Kodachi her rope. With a single grip, Kodachi turns the rope into a rod. "That ... that's Ryoga's belt trick!" Akane says. Akane spins the ribbon, trying to catch Kodachi, but she uses the rod to cover, then she attacks Akane, who avoids all her hits, suddenly, Akane falls down. "What the!" Akane looks at her feet, a yellow and black ribbon is tying her feet together. "Ryoga!" "What! I didn't do anything." Ryoga says with a cute smile. Akane is about to answer, when she spins around to avoid Kodachi's next attack. After she gained some distance, she unties her feet, and stands up. Not only I have to fight Kodachi, but I have to be careful with Ryoga. Akane thinks, then she grabs the two clubs. "Now, Kodachi ... get ready!" "My pleasure." Kodachi also grabs her clubs. She dashes towards Akane with them. Akane moves to a side, then notices that Kodachi's clubs have spikes in it. Spikes! This girl fights dirty! Akane tough as she used her clubs to cover from Kodachi's attacks. Akane stays in the defensive, because she notices that she can't do much else. I have to switch, I have very little choice. Akane thinks. Akane jumps over Kodachi as she makes another attack and runs towards Ryoga. "Why Akane? So soon you realize that you can't win?" Ryoga says in a mocking tone. "Shut up, and come inside!" CLAP! Akane and Ryoga clap hands. Ryoga enters the ring, with her gymnastics clubs, and Akane steps out, waiting for it to be her turn again. "So, Ryoga, you'll be my opponent now?" "Yeah, get ready to lose Kodachi! I wont let you have Ranma!" "We'll see about that," Kodachi looks at Ayumi, "Ayumi, hand me the ring." "Yes Kodachi!" Ayumi tosses Kodachi the ring, and Kodachi catches it with her right hand. "You, insolent girl that dares to come between Ranma and me, prepare to be defeated by Kodachi, the Black Rose!" Kodachi tosses the Ring to Ryoga, who moves to a side and lets the ring pass by. Then Akane crouches as she sees the ring come her way, and is surprised when she sees that the ring cuts trough the ring corner. "That ring has a sharp edge!" She says to Ryoga. "I have eyes Akane! I saw it!" Ryoga answers and turns back at Kodachi. The ring returns to Kodachi, who tosses it back to Ryoga, Ryoga jumps on one of the ring ropes, and uses one of her shuriken ribbons to cut the edged ring in half. "I'll show you who's really going to lose this match!" Ryoga begins to spin the gymnastic clubs in her hands. Kodachi smiles and grabs her two clubs, "Kodachi's secret technique Senjyu Konbou!" With that, Kodachi strikes at Ryoga again and again with lighting speed using her clubs, Ryoga covers using hers. From the crowd, some of the spectators are commenting, "Wow ... It looks like she's using like 20 clubs." "Yeah, maybe more!" Ranma hears them, then looks back at the fight. Actually, she IS using more than two clubs ... about 24 to be precise. He says to himself. Ryoga keeps covering using her clubs, suddenly, she kicks at them and jumps away. CLANK! Exactly 24 clubs fall on the ring from Kodachi's hands. "Ohh! She was really using more than 20 clubs." Ryoga looks tired after that, and decides that she needs a little rest to continue the fight. She turns at Akane, who nods at her. CLAP! After clapping hands again, Akane and Ryoga switch places again, Akane enters the ring, ribbon in hand. "So, Akane Tendo, you come out again to ace me?" "Yes, and this time I'm going to win!" "Heh, heh, heh ... we'll see about that." Grabbing her ribbon, Kodachi entangles the bell in it, and tosses it at Akane, who jumps out of the way to avoid it. "You want to play like that? Alright, you asked for it!?" Using her ribbon, Akane entangles the table of the judges, and tosses it at Kodachi, but the Black Rose uses her ribbon like a cutter, and cuts the table in half, the two pieces fall at each side of the ring. "Alright ... you asked for it!" Now Kodachi entangles Kuno, that was watching the fight, and wields him at Akane. Akane then does the same thing and entangles Ranma form the crowd. YAAAAHH!! WAAAAHH!!! The two meet in mid air, and with a quick punch, Ranma knocks Kuno out, and falls out of the ring with a stand. Kuno falls on the other side, face first, and out cold. "HEY! Akane! Next time you do something like that try to warn me first, would you!" "Hum ... sorry." Kodachi looks at Akane ... she is really strong and fast ... she could win ... I have to give it my best! "Ayumi! Hand me the clubs again!" "Yes Kodachi!" Ayumi tosses Kodachi the clubs, and she grabs them with each hand. "Get ready Akane Tendo!" Akane spins around and jumps to avoid the wave of attacks that Kodachi is throwing at her. Soon, she can't do it anymore, and trips with one of the clubs that Kodachi threw earlier. THUMP! Akane turns around on the floor, "Akane Tendo! This is the end!" Akane can just stare as Kodachi gets ready for the final hit with her spiked club. CHINK! Akane looks, wide eyed, as how Ryoga had saved her, stopping Kodachi's attack with the gymnastic rope. "You insolent girl! How dare you interfere!" "Ryoga!? You saved me!" 'Don't get your hopes up Akane ... I did it so we won't lose this match, I'm not going to lose Ranma over this weirdo." "Weirdo! Who's the weirdo! I'll show you!" Kodachi jumps back, ready to continue, Akane stands up, and takes better hold of her ribbon. Kodachi turns at Ayumi, "Ayumi ... don't interfere, this is between me and those two, understand?" Ayumi nods, "Yes Kodachi, whatever you say." (Besides, she didn't want to enter the fight after the display of strength that Akane and Ryoga showed in the fight.) The commentator grabs her mike, "Now this s getting interesting! The fight has turned into a royal rumble between Akane, Ryoga and Kodachi, who will win!?" Akane, with the ribbon, Kodachi, with the clubs, and Ryoga, with the rope, circle each other waiting for the right moment to attack. AAAH! YAAAH! Ryoga and Kodachi run towards Akane at the same time, Akane looks at them, then looks up. Using the ribbon as a whip, she takes hold of one of the ceiling bars, and pulls herself up. CRASH! With a loud crash, Kodachi and Ryoga hit each other, head to head, literally, and the two fall limp on the floor. Akane falls back down with a stand. "Kodachi and Ryoga got knocked out! The winner of this match, and new inter-school champion of Combat Gymnastics, is ... AKANE TENDO!" The referee raises Akane's hand as the victor as she just smiles nervously. "Oooow." "Awwww." Kodachi and Ryoga wake up slowly and look at Akane, as she is declared the winner. "Damn! I lost!" Ryoga says to herself. Kodachi breaks into tears, "Because of my promise ... I must quit this love for my beloved Ranma." "Kodachi ..." "But no matter, from tomorrow on, I, Kodachi Kuno, will start a new and more strong love for Ranma!" "Eh!?" In the crowd, Ranma faints. Akane was skating away from Ryoga as she chased her trough the rink. What a tuff luck, Ryoga may get lost all the time, but she always ended up were SHE was. "Hey! Ryoga! Cool it, will you?" "Never! Not until I beat you and Ranma is mine!" "Alright then ... if you don't cool down ... I'll help you." Akane skates to the side to avoid a kick from Ryoga, then to the side of the rink and picks up a bucket of water from the cleaning lady. "Ryoga ... it's pig time!" "Wait NO!" Too late, Akane splashes Ryoga with the water and she immediately turns into a cute white piglet with a yellow and black ribbon on it's neck. "BWEEE! BWEEEE!" "Yeah, yeah ... see you later Ryoga." Akane skated away from Ryoga. That Akane! She was going to pay for this! She was going to make sure of it! But first ... she had to find some hot water ... and the exit. "Oooooh! How cute! A few minutes later, in the restaurant inside the skating rink. "Ryoga was here?" Ranma asked as he finished his bowl of ramen. "Yes ... she may get lost all the time ... but always ends up finding me." "Well ... she is kind of stubborn." "KIND of stubborn? She's a complete pig headed!" "Yeah ... well ... Huh? Isn't that Ryoga?" "Huh? Were?" Akane asked and turned around, the girl with the long brown hair was holding Ryoga, still in pig-form. "So it is ..." She said. "Aren't you going to tell that girl that the pig is actually a human being?" "Why should I? If she can manage to keep Ryoga off my back for a week, then so be it." "I just hope that you know what you are doing ..." Ranma said, and went back to eat his ramen. A few hours later. Ryoga woke up slowly, her head still felt like a ton of bricks. She opened her eyes and looked around, as she did this she noticed a few things. First: She was in some weird looking room, there was lot's of stuff ... some normal like a teddy bear, or a doll ... but some other's were very weird, like a traffic light, or a street-sign. All of the things in the room had little paper-hearts on them with french names written on them. Second: She was on a big bed, still in pig form. Third: Somebody had taken off the ribbon from her neck and replaced it with a collar with the word 'Charlotte' written on it. Fourth: She was not alone. "Charlotte! You finally woke up!" Ryoga turned her head, and noticed the same girl from the skating rink, looking at her from the side of the bed. "BWEEEE!" Ryoga screamed and tried to run away, but couldn't as the girl pulled a cord that was attached to the collar on her neck. "Now, now ... don't run away from Azusa ... you look dirty ... how about a hot bath?" Ryoga stopped ... finally, an opportunity to get away. SPLASH! Asuza dropped Ryoga in the furo. "There you go Charlotte." Suddenly, the water started to bubble up, and Ryoga, in human form, emerged from the furo. "Surprised?" She asked in a mocking tone. "Chatlotte? Were is my Charlotte!" Asuza asked worried. Then she noticed the collar on Ryoga's neck, and that it was attached to the cord that she was still holding. "Charlotte! You are a girl?" Asuza asked as she realized. "Would you stop calling me that! My name is Ryoga Hibiki! Now take this stupid collar of me, I have things to do." "No." Asuza said. "Huh?" "I found you ... and you are mine Charlotte." "My name is Ryoga!" "Charlotte!" "RYOGA!" "CHARLOTTE!" They screamed at each other for a couple of minutes, then Ryoga stopped. "Look ... I don't care how you call me ... I'm out of here." Ryoga grabbed the collar with both hands and was about to rip it off when electricity went trough her body. "AAH! What ... was that!?" "Cute isn't it? It's a special belt security system I bought it from a girl named Kodachi." Kodachi ... why am I not surprised? Ryoga tough. "Okay ... you won ... what do I have to do to take this stupid thing off my neck?" "Just use this key." Asuza said and showed Ryoga a heart shaped key, Ryoga tried to grab it, but Asuza hid it with a quick move. "Sorry Charlotte ... but if you want to leave ... you have to find something cute for Asuza." "What!? Look ... can we work something out?" "Humm ... maybe ... what do you have in mind?" Asuza asked. "I'll help you if you help me." "Fine ... what do you need help with?" The main reason was because since Ryoga attacked her yesterday right here, this was the most unlikely of places for her to turn up into. Suddenly, she came to a complete stop when another girl with long brown hair and wearing a ice-skating outfit, stopped right in her path. "Can I help you with anything?" Akane asked. "Are you Akane Tendo?" The girl asked. "Huh? Who wants to know?" Asked Akane in a defensive way. Asuza figured that answer as an affirmative one, "I'm Asuza Shiratori, one of the members of the golden pair of skating from Kolkhoz High School." "Huh? And what do you want with me?" "I want to ch.... OHHHHH! How cute! Youri! Come with Azusa!" Akane watched as the girl skated next to a fire extinguisher and picked it up, calling it Youri. What a weirdo, Akane tough and kept on skating. Asuza walked out of the skating rink, still holding the extinguisher. "So? Did you challenge her?" Ryoga asked, she was waiting for Asuza outside the rink. "Huh? Hi Charlotte!" "RYOGA! CALL ME RYOGA!" "Whatever ... Humm ... no, I didn't get to challenge her because I found Youri, isn't it cute?" "I think I'm going to have a headache." Ryoga said to herself. "Look ... let's go over the plan one more time." Ryoga said to Asuza. Asuza nodded. "You are going to challenge Akane to a duel of martial arts skating ..." Asuza nodded. "And when she is fighting you, I'll take advantage of the situation and win Ranma from her. Understood?" Akane turned her head. "Ryoga! I knew that you had something to do with this!" "Hi Charlotte!" Said Asuza in a carefree manner. "STOP CALLING ME THAT!" "Charlotte?" Asked Akane. "Shut up Akane!" Ryoga answered. Suddenly, Ryoga felt a hand on her shoulder. A very handsome boy was behind Ryoga as she turned around. "Excuse me, but I couldn't help noticing that you are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen." "Huh? What do you mean with ... humf!" Ryoga couldn't finish as the boy kissed her, she stared with her eyes wide open. Then broke the kiss. "Ah! 999 girls had meet my lips, one more and I ..." "HOW DARE YOU KISS ME YOU HENTAI!" CRASH! BONK! SOCK! WHAM! Ryoga punched that boy for all she was worth, and left him lying on the ground. "Huf ... Puf ... That's what you get!" She said. The boy was lying on the floor, unconscious and looked pretty bad. Asuza walked next to them. "Hum ... Charlotte?" "Would you stop calling me that!?" "Charlotte, that boy you just beat up into intensive care ... is my skating partner Mikado Sanzenin." "So?" "I can't have a duel without a partner ... so you are going to have to replace him on the duel, since it's gong to be in three days and he wont be ready." "Hu? Me? But I don't know the first thing about skating." "I doesn't matter Charlotte, I'll teach you." "Stop calling me that!" Ryoga said, then turned to look at Akane. "Fine with me, it'll give me a chance to beat up Akane in front of a crowd." "Dream on Ryoga." Akane said. Even tough she knew that she wasn't a professional in skating, and that she had to fight both Ausza and Ryoga alone. "Don't worry Akane, I'll be your partner." Ranma said from behind her. "Huh? Ranma ..." "Ranma-kun?" Ryoga said to herself. Why? Why did fate have to be so cruel!? Everything was fine, but now she had to fight her dear Ranma, she just couldn't do that. She was about to complain when Asuza spoke up. "Fine. The duel will be in three days in the skating rink of Kolkhoz High ... let's go Charlotte, you have to learn how to skate." Asuza said and walked to the ice-skating rink. "Stop calling me Charlotte!" Ryoga said and followed Asuza. Akane watched them go, then turned to look at Ranma. "Why did you do that?" "Now, don't be getting the wrong idea ... I don't care what happens to you, It's just that that girl was getting on my nerves." "Huh? Fine!" Akane said with an annoyed look, "Now let's go. You have to learn how to ice-skate in three days." "Huh? Wait ...woa!" Akane dragged Ranma from his pig-tail and towards the skating rink. Inside the rink, Ranma was having some trouble skating. "Wait Akane! I can't stand up! Wait a minute!" "Come on ... it's not that hard ... and why are you in your girl form anyway?" "So I don't have to stand the humiliation in my real form." "Humf ..." Ranma looked to his left, were he saw a bunch of guys in hockey outfits. "What is happening over there?" Ranma asked. "Huh? I don't know ... let's see." Akane skates towards them, dragging Ranma behind her. "Hello Akane." Ryoga said from a side, as she was also watching. "What do you want Charlotte?" Akane asked in a mocking tone. Ryoga repressed her anger, and smiled "Enjoy your life while you still have it Akane." She turned her head towards the center of the guys in hockey outfits, "just watch." "Huh?" Akane and Ranma looked as Asuza was in the center of those guys. "NOW!" One of the guys screamed, and all of them skated towards Asuza. "What! Stop them! They are going to kill her!" "Heh, heh, heh ... I think that it's going to be the other way around Akane." Ryoga said. And she was right, with quick movements Asuza kicked all of the guys in hockey outfits trough the walls, and on the ice. After a few seconds, she was done. "Wow!" A guy with a chronometer said, "She just broke the singles record ... just ten and a half seconds." Asuza skated towards Ryogha, "when I'm, finished with your training Charlotte, you'll be able to what you just saw." "Good ... and don't call me Charlotte." Ryoga answered and turned to look at Akane, "See you in three days Akane ... enjoy them while you are still alive, ha, ha, ha, ha!" Ryoga and Asuza skated away from the two. "Wow ... did you see that Akane? ... Akane?" Ranma turned to look at Akane. And she was shining a bright red, "Ryoga ... I'm going to show her! Come on Ranma!" "OW! Wait!" Chapter 11: The three days had passed in a jiffy, Ryoga had learned many of Asuza's best martial arts skating techniques. To Akane and Ranma's side, Ranma still doesn't know how to skate. The announcer picked up the mike, "Ladies and gentlemen, today will be decided the winner of the Charlotte cup!" In a side of the skating rink, "You named the cup Charlotte!?" Ryoga asked Asuza, they were both wearing ice-skating outfits. "Why? I shouldn't have?" "OF COURSE NOT!" "Representing Kolkhoz High School ... Asuza Shiratori, and replacing the injured Mikado, Ryoga Hibiki!" Cheers were coming from the crowd as the two girls entered the skating rink. "What? Mikado is not here?" Asked one of the girls of Mikado's fan club. "Yes ... I heard he had an accident." Another one answered. "Shoot! And I only came here to see him." "And, the challengers, representing Furinkan High School ... Akane Tendo and Ranma Saotome!" "Come on Akane ... let's show them what's a real entrance." "Huh? But you don't know how to ..." Akane couldn't finish her sentence as Ranma lifted her, and skated into the rink. SLIP! BONK! Ranma fell, face first on the ice, and like that he slid to the center of the rink, Akane sitting on his stomach. "Wow! Ranma and Akane had done quite an entrance!" "HA HA HA HA HA HA!" Asuza laughed at the two. "Shut up!" Akane yelled. Asuza skated back to Ryoga. "This is going to be easy ... they don't know the first thing about skating." Ryoga nodded, "Yeah ... now, remember, Akane is mine to defeat ... you'll handle Ranma ... being a girl he will pull back." "Sure thing Charlotte." "And stop calling me that." "And the match begins!" Akane pulls Ranma into the first attack, Ryoga and Asuza skate towards the two, and at the right moment, Asuza jumps avoiding a kick from Ranma being swing by Akane and kicks him on the face, sending him flying away. "I'll take care of him Charlotte." She said and skated towards Ranma who was just starting to get up. "Be careful not to hurt him badly ... and don't call me Charlotte!" Ryoga answered and turned to look at Akane. "So, Akane ... it's just you and me." "You planned all of this from the beginning didn't you?" "I'll do anything to take Ranma away from you ... now fight!" With that, Ryoga skated at an incredible speed towards Akane. "Ice melting attack!" Ryoga yelled as she passed Akane. "What the ..." Akane felt the floor move a little as Ryoga melted the ice were she skated. "What's this?" "Incredible! It seems like Ryoga is melting the ice below them ... and that's bad considering that the skating rink is made with a frozen swimming pool." "What swimming pool!?" Akane said as Ryoga passed by her again. Akane jumped as the ice below her melted and avoided falling into the ice cold water. "You'll have to do better than that Ryoga!" Akane said. "Fine ... I didn't want to do this ... but you asked for it Akane!" Ryoga began spinning around. "This is amazing! Ryoga is now using one of the techniques of Mikado! The Shiryou no bonodori!" "The what?" Akane asked, but it was too late, she was absorbed by Ryoga's spinning attack. "Shiryou no bonodori combined with the ice melting attack!" As Ryoga's spinning attack went faster and faster, the ice of many places of the rink began to melt, combining the two techniques was dangerous, but nothing compared to the speed that they produced. Inside the spinning attack, Akane was doing her best to cover herself from Ryoga's kicks and punches, but couldn't find were to land a blow. Meanwhile, Ranma was holding his own against Asuza, he wasn't hitting back because his opponent was a girl, and because he didn't know how to skate. So he just covered from the different attacks, and waited for an opportunity to make her lose the battle without getting hurt. "Here I go!" Asuza skated towards Ranma at top speed. Ranma stood, waiting for her, ready to deflect the attack, when he felt the floor move behind him. "What?" Ranma turned his head and noticed that the rink was melted in many places, and that below the ice was water. "Got you!" Asuza didn't stop and kicked Ranma hard in the head, making him fall into the water. SPLASH! "HUG!" Ryog stopped spinning as Akane managed to cover from her attacks and punched her in the stomach. "See Ryoga? No matter what you do I'll defeat you." Ryoga turned to look at Akane a few feet away, she was losing against Akane! She had to do something ... and fast! SPLASH! The two girls turned when they heard the splash. "What was that?" "There's Asuza next to a hole in the ice ... were is Ranma?" "He must have fell in the water!" "What! It's ice cold! He may be strong but he is going to freeze to death in there!" The two girls skated towards the hole in the ice, and looked down, there it was, a girl with red hair going down and deep into the water. "I'll save him!" Ryoga said and jumped into the water. "Hum ... Ryoga ... what about your curse?" Akane asked. "What! NO!" To late Ryoga realized that as she hit the water, changing into a small white piglet. "Sigh ... well then ... I guess that I should save them." Akane said, and jumped into the water holding to a side with her feet so she would be able to emerge since she doesn't know how to swim. A few minutes later, she came out holding Ranma with one arm, and Ryoga in the other. "Here ... ou can have her." Akane handed the little white piglet to Asuza. "Oooooh! Asuza has her dear pig Charlotte back!" "BWEEE! BWEEE!" Ryoga tried to get away from Asuza but couldn't. As Asuza skated away from the rink, holding Ryoga, Akane placed Ranma flat on the floor. "Ranma ... are you ok? Talk to me!" "mumbseddsajsalo" Ranma said in a very low voice. "What?" Akane placed her ear near Ranma's mouth. "I said ... take your knee of my lungs." "Oh ... sorry." Akane noticed her knee on Ranma's lungs and moved. Ranma sat up. "Hum ... thanks ..." Ranma said to Akane, blushing. Akane blushed too, "Hum ... it's ok ... you ... you would have done the same thing for me, right?" "Hum ... I guess so." Ranma answered, then looked around. "Where are Ryoga ant that Asuza girl?" "They left." "Great! That means we won, right?" "I guess we did." Akane answered with a smile, and Ranma returned it. "Since Asuza and Ryoga had left the rink ... the winners are ... Ranma and Akane of Furinkan High!" Later, in Asuza's house. "Charlotte! You are back in your human form!" Ryoga emerged from the furo, and looked at Asuza, "This is how I ALWAYS look like ... now give me the key for this thing." Ryoga said and pointed at the collar on her neck. "Remember our deal, I helped you ... so now you have to find something cute for me and I'll give you the key." "What ... hum ... alright ...let me see ..." Ryoga picked one of her infinite ribbons and handed one to Asuza. "Here." "Ooooh! What a cute little ribbon ... Francoise!" Boy this girl needs a life, Ryoga tough ... "Now can you please give me that key?" "Sure Charlotte ... here." Asuza handed Ryoga the little key and she unlocked the collar.
