This document is intended to be used as a addendum to my BGC2090
series. It gives a brief summary of the main characters that have so
far been introduced.

Terms

Black Nexus	A prison created by the inhabitants of the PrimeVerse to entrap Leviathan.
Challenge	The Truce banned any fighting between the Nobles of the Rebellion and HIS Nobles. However, a more formalized form of fighting has arisen which is known as ‘Challenge’. A Challenge is usually a straightforward conflict between Nobles and/or Families.
Chosen	A term that refers to a bonding relationship that occurs between a Noble and the one whom they "love".
Claim	A term used to describe the process when a Noble becomes a member of a Family. This can be either a voluntary or a forced process.
Consort	A Noble who is the current lover to a Noble Lord.
Cycles	As each Multiverse is born and then dies this is referred to as a Cycle. Hence 2 Cycles refers to someone who has lived through 2 Multiverses.
Enforcers	Nobles within a Family who "enforce" the will of the ruler of that Family – internal police.
Families	A clan of Nobles who own allegiance to a Noble Lord or Mistress.
Great Games	A term used to refer to the subtle games of intrigue that Nobles will play against each other. These Games are more covert forms of Challengers and are covered by the same rules. Games can over any sort of activity but usually involve thousands of years and a great number of Pawns. Originally Kelly’s home world was destroyed as the result of a minor Game.
Haven	The capital of the ShadowLands, the home of HIM
HIM/HE/ONE/FATHER	A mysterious Being who seems to have created the Nobles. It is later revealed that HE is a survivor of the PrimeVerse. HE rules the Nobles with an iron hand.
Multiverse	A term used to describe the sum total of all the universes and all the realities currently in existence. Multiverses are born and die, and with each rebirth they become something slightly different and different then the one previously before.
Noble Lord	The ruler of a Family. In most cases this will be a Noble whose Power outstrips the rest of the other members of the Family.
Nobles	A race of Beings whose origins are unclear, but whom Sam seems to indicate to Linna invaded the ShadowLands on mass and made it their home. Nobles are Beings who are to Gods/Demons/Devils, as butterflies are to Man.
Others	Non-Nobles who also inhabit the ShadowLands.
Pawns	Those who are being Played by the Game.
Players	Those who Play Games.
PrimeVerse	The PrimeVerse is the name gives to the very first Universe ever created. This Universe was primordial in name, with no such concepts as Law/Chaos/Good/Evil. As Samantha once commented – "only Power mattered".
ShadowLands	A place that is part and yet separate from each Multiverse. It remains in existence even when Multiverses pass on. When Sam was trying to describe it to Linna, she described it as a dumping ground where all those who have no place in existence are placed – a limbo.
The Council	A council of Nobles formed as a result of the Truce. The Council was originally intended to comprise members of the Rebellion and members of HIS Nobles. The purpose of the Council was to oversee the development of the Multiverse.
The Great Holding	The inner circle of the Council, who rule the rest of the Council.
The Great Rebellion	A period long after the Nobles invaded the ShadowLands when a large group of Nobles rebelled against HIS rule.
The Truce	The treaty that was made between the leaders of HIS forces and those of the Rebellion.

Knight Sabers

Linna Yamazaki	Linna is a former member of the Knight Sabers who meets and then falls in love with Samantha De’Naime. Linna becomes a Nobles when she is Claimed by Samantha.
Mackie Stingray	Husband of Nene, is killed in 2047 by Linna.
Nene Stingray	Wife of Mackie Stingray, mother of Nina Stingray.
Priscilla Asagiri	Priss is a former member of the Knight Sabers who is Chosen by Mayline, a member of Samantha’s Family.
Sylia Stingray	The leader of the Knight Sabers. Sylia is killed by Linna in 2047 when Sylia betrays her to the Council.

Nobles

Amilee	Samantha’s past Consort who was killed by Kelly when she Challenged Amilee for the position.
Arline	An Enforcer in Samantha’s Family.
Arrain	A Noble Lord who is killed by Samantha when he insults her.
Celeline	An Enforcer in Samantha’s Family who wants to Chose Samanaimethea.
Celine	An Enforcer in Samantha’s Family.
Cylina	An Enforcer in Samantha’s Family.
Daina	An Enforcer in Samantha’s Family.
Daphline	An Enforcer in Samantha’s Family.
Elina	An Enforcer in Samantha’s Family who is killed by other Nobles.
Gabriel	A Powerful Noble Lord who servers as HIS Steward.
Gelline	An Enforcer in Samantha’s Family.
Gillian Maridith	Noble Lord
Ginnina	An Enforcer in Samantha’s Family.
Helia	An Enforcer in Samantha’s Family.
Jaric	Noble Lord.
Karine	An Enforcer in Samantha’s Family.
Kelly Duval	A member of Samantha’s Family, current reigning Consort.
Kiyomi	A mortal Claimed by Samantha for amusement.
Leina	An Enforcer in Samantha’s Family who is killed by other Nobles.
Loria	A Powerful Noble who has old ties to Samantha, but who is not part of Samantha’s Family. Also called Lloth and Llothelianias
Luc/Yoko	A Noble who was Playing with the Knight Sabers in a small Game.
Mayline	An Enforcer in Samantha’s Family who Chose Priss.
Michael	A Powerful Noble Lord who was Played by Samantha into starting a Second Rebellion.
Mina	An Enforcer in Samantha’s Family who Chose Loria.
Reina	An Enforcer in Samantha’s Family who wants to Chose Kelly.
Relia	An Enforcer in Samantha’s Family.
Rina	An Enforcer in Samantha’s Family.
Sera	A Noble Lord who remained neutral during the Rebellion.
Sophia	A Noble Lord who owns the club Hades in the BGC reality. She is an old friend of Samantha’s.
Sylvie	An Enforcer in Samantha’s Family.
Yui Elessar	Servant of Geoff Quincy.

Alexi	Chosen of Darline.
Allan Alexander	Friend of Katsumi who owns a gym.
Dan Reynolds	A lawyer who employs Kelly Duval.
Haru Saiko	Husband of Yuki Saiko.
Helen Shannon	An old friend of Linna’s whom Helen knows by the name Shay Lee.

Leia Yasha	Keiji Otsuki’s lover, driven insane by Samantha’s amusements.
Lum Cheng	An old friend of Sam’s from an alternative universe to the BGC universe.
Masato	A priest in Katsumi’s world.
Mio Amano	An ADP officer who is driven mad when she is involved in a small Game Played by Sera.
Nami Yamigumo	An old friend of Sam’s from an alternative universe to the BGC universe.
Nina Stingray	Daughter of Nene and Mackie Stingray, mother of Raina.
Raina Stingray	Daughter of Nina Stingray who is possessed by a member of Gabriel’s Family.
Robert DeVice	Husband of Katsumi Liqueur.
Sandra Kateland	A professor at Ominu Academy.
Yuki Saiko	An old friend of Sam’s from an alternative universe to the BGC universe.

Others

Anthraxus	A Devil who Samanaimethea recruits to protect her.
De'Naime	Name meaning 'Darkness'.
Erith	An ancient God of Law who was Kay's lover. Killed by Samantha.
Geoff Quincy	Supposed son of Quincy. A survivor of the PrimeVerse who seeks the downfall of HIM. Also called Ur'Baho.
Kay	A survivor of the PrimeVerse who was Sam's mate before she and Samantha fell out. Samantha killed Kay countless prior to the story. Also known as Kaythrin.
Leviathan	An unknown entity or force that was supposedly the cause of the destruction of the PrimeVerse.
Sam	A more 'human' side of Samantha's personality, she is a distinct entity in herself that Samantha hates above all else.
Samanaimethea	The Being who arose out of the combined deaths of Sam and Samantha.
Samantha De'Naime	A survivor of the PrimeVerse who is also called the Corrupter, Mistress of Darkness.
Vari	A survivor of the PrimeVerse who is not aligned to either HIM or Ur'Baho. Like Samantha, she is the only survivor of the PrimeVerse still capable of Spawning (reproducing).
