Mason finds out the answers to the questions when his Boomer makes him late for a GENOM meeting. ETERNAL NAP. Mason's eyes were now wide after a pillow hit him one evening. He had been sleeping. He saw his beloved Boomer next to him. He sat up. MASON : What? The Boomer's eyes were hidden by shades. His scowl was obvious. His arms were folded. He had been the one who had hit his partner with a pillow. BOOMER : Do you realize that you bit me seconds ago? MASON : Maybe that's because your arm was on my face. BOOMER : Oh. Mason looked at the digital alarm next to the bed. 4:00. MASON : I have to attend a GENOM meeting at 6:00 AM. I will try not to bite you. BOOMER : That's not good enough. MASON : What? BOOMER : I demand sex! MASON : NOW?! His Boomer smiled and nodded. MASON : We did that at 10:00 PM. Two entire hours. He gave in when his lover raised a pillow above his head.... Mason fell asleep at 6:00 AM and did not bother looking at his alarm. He had forgotten to set the alarm earlier. When he opened his eyes, it was 6:30 AM. MASON : I'M LATE! He got out of bed and quickly dressed. His Boomer opened one eye slightly before hogging the entire bed. Mason ran out of their home. MASON : Why did I have to give in to my Boomer's sexual demands? Oh yeah. He threatened me with a pillow. He had sex with me and made me late! He did not see a portal open in front of him and ran through it. It shut behind him. He continued to run. Meanwhile, Priss, Sylia, Nene, and Linna went mall shopping. PRISS : Annoy me today and I will never buy your expensive hair gel, Linna. LINNA : Notice how well I am behaving. NENE : Why do you need hair gel, Linna? Linna grinned. LINNA : I am meeting a beautiful man tonight. I want my hair to look perfect. Sylia smiled. SYLIA : What is our mall destination? LINNA : The beauty salon! PRISS : Hold me back, Sylia. She ranted as Sylia restrained her. She eventually calmed down and went on a shopping spree with her companions. SYLIA : I was just wondering.... What would it be like to have eternal dreams? What if people could sleep forever and dream? Would nightmares last forever? LINNA : My eternal dream would be to have a lot of money, a husband, hair gel.... SYLIA : What would you do if you ever went bald, Linna? Linna's eyes watered. LINNA : Stop it, Sylia! You are going to give me eternal nightmares ! She looked at Priss. LINNA : Speaking of hair.... PRISS : I am going to buy your stupid gel today! LINNA : Someone is cranky! PRISS : Someone is going home without her hair gel! LINNA : I'll be good! I'll be good! SYLIA : Just ignore Linna, Priss. PRISS : I have tried it before and it does not help. LINNA : Hmph! She and her companions looked at one another while walking into a portal. They were shocked when they found themselves wearing their hardsuits! NENE : What?! She, Priss, Sylia, and Linna looked around. NENE : We must be in another dimension. SYLIA : Really? I didn't know until you mentioned it. NENE : It is very obvious. SYLIA : I was being sarcastic. NENE : Oh. LINNA : If I don't have my hair gel by tonight, I will die. PRISS : I can arrange that. LINNA : Not literally! She, Nene, Priss, and Sylia were surprised when a man ran past them. NENE : Who? SYLIA : Mason! LINNA : Why would he be in this dimension? SYLIA : Clobber him first and ask questions later. She and the Knight Sabers chased him. Mason stopped running when he literally ran into someone. He saw a person with long dark hair and big yellow eyes guarding a cave. The guard wore a knee length coat with trousers and boots. He held a sword that was jagged like his hair. Mason could feel the blade's tip at his throat. GUARD : Who are you? Mason introduced himself. MASON : Who are you? GUARD : I guard this world known as Eternal Nap. MASON : I wish that my naps were eternal. My beloved yet bitchy Boomer kept me awake last night and made me late for work. He heard Sylia's voice and turned his head. SYLIA : Mason! MASON : Knight Sabers! The guard's eyes were wide. GUARD : Knight Sabers? Linna approached him. LINNA : Why are we in this dimension? GUARD : The inhabitants in this world could not help but listen to your conversation. You will be able to experience eternal dreams for yourselves. MASON : I never mentioned having eternal dreams before I entered this world. SYLIA : Be quiet! She hit his head. GUARD : Your Boomer was the cause of your sleep deprivation. I wanted you to experience a world where you could sleep and dream forever. PRISS : Enough talk! She kicked him between the legs and watched him fall on his side. he, Sylia, Nene, Linna, and Mason entered Eternal Nap. The guard eventually stood and smiled. His eyes were now red as he laughed. GUARD : Stupid Knight Sabers and GENOM executive! They will have eternal dreams in their caskets! The Knight Sabers and Mason wandered through another cave. MASON : Why aren't you battling me, Knight Sabers? Nene looked at him. NENE : We figured that the nightmares would torment you instead. MASON : I am not afraid of anything. He shrieked when Priss caused her fingers to 'walk' on his back. PRISS : Afraid of spiders, Mason? MASON : No. You just startled me. He stopped walking when he noticed a man sitting on a throne in front of him. The man's black hair was long and had orange streaks. His eyes were yellow with tiny slits .There was a spider painted over them. His black smile exposed tiny fangs. His outfit was black. He sat with his legs crossed. MAN : Welcome to my domain. SYLIA : Who are you? MAN : Ta Ran Tula. MASON : Ta Ran Tula? The Knight Sabers laughed at his name. LINNA : I get it! Your hair, your eyes, your fangs, your pets. MASON : Ta Ran Tula. NENE : You don't get the joke, Mr. Mason? He shook his head back and forth. TA RAN TULA : Close your eyes and you will find out why I am Ta Ran Tula. Mason obeyed. TA RAN TULA : Take sixteen steps forward. Mason did as he was told. TA RAN TULA : Now open your eyes. Mason shrieked when he saw a huge tarantula in the man's palm. TA RAN TULA : Now do you get the joke? Mason watched the spider raise two of its legs. It was inches from his face. He gasped which enabled it to crawl inside his mouth. He started to choke. He felt it exit his mouth. He proceeded to vomit. He screamed more and more as several tarantulas crawled all over his body. He stood and was desperate to get rid of them. He swiped at them. Just for laughs, Nene dropped a spider down the front of his trousers ! The tarantula entered his boxers via the front hole. MASON : Damn you, Nene! Ta Ran Tula rested his head on his hand while smiling. Mason struggled to prevent himself from fainting. He knew that if he did, spiders would be all over his body. The tarantula crawled out of his pants and on his chest. He swiped it off. MASON : Now I am going to have nightmares for the rest of my life! TA RAN TULA : I am surprised that a man is expressing terror. Perhaps he is a female within a male shell. MASON : I may shriek and cry like a woman, but I am not a woman! The Knight Sabers punched their open fists. SYLIA : I will have you know that women are capable of expressing bravery. Nene is an exception. NENE : You are so mean! MASON : I don't want to spend another second in this nightmare world! TA RAN TULA : Too bad because you will have nightmares forever! Tarantulas will dominate your dreams. He stood and walked away from his throne. He stopped walking. TA RAN TULA : If you think that my spiders are scary, you should see my true self! MASON : Your true self? He gasped when he watched Ta Ran Tula's body shred. He saw a massive tarantula replace him. His eyes were wide. He stepped back. He proceeded to scream. He never noticed the Knight Sabers suffering. LINNA : Make him stop! SYLIA : We don't have any choice but to save him. LINNA : Anything to make him stop shrieking. The tarantula was immune to Mason's shrill screaming. PRISS : Well, if the tarantula kills him.... SYLIA : Perhaps you are right. NENE : It may be awhile before he dies so we should save him. Sylia sighed. SYLIA : Very well, Nene. Mason stopped screaming when the Knight Sabers attacked the massive spider. MASON : Knight Sabers! Nene avoided the arachnid's long legs stepping on her. Linna used her Knuckle Bomber while leaping on its back. Priss released several needles and watched the tarantula raise a few of its legs and screech. Sylia sliced off one of its legs with her sword and was knocked down by another leg. Mason caught her as she stumbled back. MASON : Are you all right? What if he knew who she was? Would he have shown so much concern? Sylia faced him and nodded. She prepared to attack the tarantula again. She jumped in the air. She brought her sword down until she was knocked in the air. Mason caught her again. MASON : We really need to stop meeting like this. He shut his eyes and smiled. Sylia looked at him before attacking. Priss hurt the tarantula by firing her beam at the ceiling that collapsed on the spider. NENE : It is finally dead. She and Mason screamed when it emerged from the rocks. PRISS, SYLIA, & LINNA : BE QUIET! Nene and Mason obeyed. NENE : Now what? She screamed and ran to where the rest of the Knight Sabers stood. The tarantula approached Mason and used one of its legs to pin him down. Its fangs were raised. Mason was too frightened to lift the limb. MASON : KNIGHT SABERS! SYLIA : You are on your own, Mr. Mason. He gasped. He started to whimper and cry softly. He started to breathe heavily. His eyes were still wide. NENE : Is he trying to give birth? Mason remembered that he had a gun in his suit. He had used it to kill Dr. Stingray several years ago. He removed it from his open coat and pulled the trigger. He watched the bullet penetrate the monster's chest. The spider no longer pinned him down. Mason conquered his fear and released more bullets until the tarantula was dead. He was also out of bullets. LINNA : How did you conquer your fear? MASON : As I approached death, I remembered that I had a gun in my suit. I forgot my fear and well.... He looked at the dead spider. SYLIA : We are proud of you, Mason. Just then, the tarantula revived! Mason shrieked again until the monster finally collapsed and was officially dead. SYLIA : It may be awhile before you fully conquer your fear of spiders, Mr. Mason. He nodded. NENE : What will the next dream be like? LINNA : We shall find out in the next world. She, Nene, Sylia, Priss, and Mason ran together until they entered another world. NENE : Ice?! Mason and the Knight Sabers slipped and slid on the ice. They looked up and saw a man sitting on a throne made of icicles. Mason gasped and blushed slightly. MASON : ( whispering ) He is so beautiful! The man wore black boots, a white coat, a white shirt, and snow colored trousers. His long hair was jagged and was pale like his face and hands. His eyes were a lovely blue. His lips were blood red unlike his pink cheeks. MAN : Welcome to your icy hell! You are so screwed! His laughter filled the ice world. LINNA : Who are you? MAN : I am the Ice Prince. Mason continued to smile. His eyes were half way shut. He blushed even more. He had disregarded the prince's cruelty. The prince smiled as he used telekinesis to cause icicles to rise from the floor. He aimed them at Mason and the Knight Sabers. He watched them knock them back. He smiled even more. PRISS : What a hypocrite! You wear a beautiful mask to conceal a skull face! The Ice Prince laughed quietly. ICE PRINCE : That is correct. LINNA : What?! Mason threw back his head and sighed repeatedly. MASON : He is too beautiful. LINNA : What about your Boomer? MASON : What about my Boomer? Linna gasped. PRISS : Your beloved yet bitchy Boomer. MASON : Oh him. Who cares? NENE : That ice bastard has him hypnotized. SYLIA : You have just now figured that out? Nene laughed. NENE : Well.... Mason approached the Ice Prince who slowly froze him in an embrace. His smile meant that he did not care about a possible icy grave. NENE : Mr. Mason! Linna ran up to the Ice Prince who held up his palm. He caused a wall of ice to rise from the floor. She ran into it and bounced off of it. Nene caught her. NENE : MR. MASON, WAKE UP! He could not hear her. ICE PRINCE : I can't help it if I am more beautiful than all of you combined. SYLIA : I am certain that you are hideous on the inside. The Ice Prince's eyes were now wide and angry. ICE PRINCE : What?! Priss aimed one of her arms at Mason. PRISS : Prepare for a rude awakening, Mason. She released a needle at the Ice Prince. She watched it go through his shoulder. Mason looked at her and snapped out of his trance. He ran over to her until he slid. The Ice Prince held his wounded shoulder as he stood. ICE PRINCE : Look at me, Mason. He watched him turn his head. He mentally created icicles that hovered near him. He also formed ice blocks. He gestured which enabled him to hurl them. He saw Mason, Priss, Sylia, Nene, and Linna fall back. Sylia attempted to get up. She managed to run up to him and jump in the air. Her sword appeared in her hand. She brought it down on his face. The Ice Prince shrieked. He lowered his head until he revealed his true nature. Priss smiled from behind her helmet. PRISS : I knew it! Nene and Mason screamed. The Ice Prince had a skull face. He hissed. PRISS : You have revealed your true face. MASON : Where is his beauty? SYLIA : I watched it shatter while he had his head lowered. The skull was filled with anger. The prince ran towards Mason and the Knight Sabers. Priss released her needles again. She watched them enter his back. She gasped when they were frozen and purged. She avoided his swipe. She kicked his back. She tried to kick him again until he grabbed her foot and swung her. He released her. She fell in Mason's arms. MASON : Are you all right? PRISS : Yeah, but Skull Face won't be. The Ice Prince avoided Linna's kick. His knee made contact with her stomach. He faced Nene who was obviously terrified. He approached her. She screamed. She fired at him and missed. Sylia was determined to kill him. He continued to dodge her sword. The Ice Prince grabbed Mason's throat with both hands. He watched him struggle to breathe. MASON : ( thinking ) I can't die now. My beloved yet bitchy Boomer is waiting. Well, there is one good thing about dying. I won't have to attend GENOM meetings. He was about to die until he remembered his beloved yet bitchy Boomer. He recalled walking with him while wearing female garments and a wig. He was the woman and the Boomer was the male. He imagined his partner worrying. He recalled watching the creation of a project known as the Super Boomer. It had been a red machine. He had loved that machine. However, he was loyal. The Ice Prince did not count since he had hypnotized him. Mason's Boomer gave him inner strength. He could not abandon him forever. He remembered his smile. He no longer cared about the pillow fights. He wanted to be in the machine's arms. He knew he was safe within his loving embrace. He scratched the skull which distracted him so that he would escape. The Ice Prince hissed again. He grabbed Mason's wrist and held it firmly. Mason struggled and could not escape. He slapped the Ice Prince who only hissed. He gasped when his hand slowly turned to ice. He screamed. He was on his knees. PRISS : Kneeling at the boots of your prince. NENE : Why is the Ice Prince doing this? SYLIA : He must really like Mason. LINNA : Perhaps he wants to be with someone forever. PRISS : He is as cold as death. Mason's body temperature proceeded to drop rapidly. MASON : ( thinking ) NO! I CAN'T DIE! He looked at his reflection in the ice and had an idea. MASON : Look down. The Ice Prince obeyed and shrieked as he released Mason. He stepped back. He collapsed and was now dead. His face of death stared back at him. The ice on Mason shattered. SYLIA : Very good, Mr. Mason. She watched him stand and face her. MASON : Now he will stare at his death and ugliness for eternity. He will smile forever. He and the Knight Sabers entered the next world through an exit. They found themselves in a beautiful valley where there were beautiful men. The men wore white robes and golden sandals. They all possessed gems and had strange markings on their foreheads. Mason, Priss, Sylia, Nene, and Linna approached them. SYLIA : Who are you? A man with a ram sign on his forehead greeted her. MAN : Greetings. I am Aries. Welcome to our beautiful world. Enjoy your stay. His eyes and hair were light blue. His hair had two ram horns and two strands. The rest of it hung down his back. He possessed a diamond. The second man had orange hair that reached his chin and was in two bull horns. His eyes were the same color. Emerald was his stone. MAN # 2 : Taurus. Another man had half dark and half light hair that was long and hung over his chest. One eye was blue and the other was brown. His gem was a moonstone. MAN # 3 : Gemini. Another man's hair was red. It was short with the exception of two strands. His eyes were green. His stone was known as a ruby. MAN # 4 : Cancer. One person had pink cheeks, blue eyes, and long golden hair that was a bit jagged. Peridot was his gem. MAN # 5 : Leo. Another person had blonde hair that was pulled up in a high ponytail. A golden head ornament kept the hair style the way it was. His eyes were dark blue. His stone was sapphire. MAN # 6 : Virgo. Another man had hair that was lighter than Virgo's. His bangs reached his blue eyes. He wore a golden neck brace with arm bracelets. His gem was opal. MAN # 7 : Libra. Another person had long dark hair and red eyes. Topaz was his stone. MAN # 8 : Scorpio. Another man's hair was wavy, long, and dark purple. His gem was turquoise. MAN # 9 : Sagitarrius. Another person had long white hair that had two small horns on the sides. One layer seemed to overlap another layer. His eyes were gray. Garnet was his stone. MAN # 10 : Capricorn. The next person had long hair that was dark blue like his eyes and parted. His stone was amethyst. MAN # 11 : Aquarius. The final man's long hair was blue like his eyes. Some of it was in a ponytail. His gem was aquamarine. MAN # 12 : Pisces. Aquarius offered a plate that had grapes on it. AQUARIUS : Have some grapes. Nene attempted to pick one. AQUARIUS : Not you! Him! Mason's eyes were wide as he took a grape and ate it. NENE : I'm hungry! AQUARIUS : Too bad! He seemed to blush when he stared at Mason. The other men were the same way. LINNA : What a pleasant dream. NENE : Starvation is not pleasant. LINNA : I am surrounded by beautiful men! NENE : Beautiful men who are not interested in you. LINNA : Hmph! Aries grabbed Mason's wrist and kissed his hand. Mason attempted to punch him and missed when the man moved his head. A tear exited one of his eyes when he was kissed against his will. Capricorn removed his dark coat. NENE : YEAH! TAKE IT OFF! Sylia prepared to attack Aries and Capricorn via her sword. ARIES : Make sure that this man never leaves our paradise. The men who represented the zodiac nodded. They faced the Knight Sabers. Taurus used one hand to raise his emerald above his head. TAURUS : EMERALD LIGHTNING! Electricity exited the glowing gem and injured the Knight Sabers who fell back. MASON : Don't give up! ARIES : Be quiet! Mason screamed when his wrist was slowly crushed. He was now on his knees. Gemini used his moonstone to attack. GEMINI : MOONSTONE EXPLOSION! He threw his gem which caused a massive burst of energy to hurt the women more. CANCER : RUBY CRAB! His stone emitted light that created a crab made out of energy. The creature grabbed Sylia in its claw and proceeded to crush her. She struggled to breathe. MASON : Sylia! Aries slapped him and watched him fall over. Linna kicked the crab which caused it to release Sylia and caught her. LINNA : Are you all right? Sylia nodded. Priss released a beam from one of her hands that caused the crab to screech. She saw it vanish. CANCER : What?! LEO : PERIDOT ADMIRATION! His stone proceeded to emit green light that temporarily blinded the Knight Sabers. VIRGO : SAPPHIRE FLYTRAP! A huge Venus Flytrap emerged from his sapphire when it was set on the ground. It attempted to devour the Knight Sabers. Nene jumped from side to side in order to avoid its jaws. She fired a quick beam that knocked its head back. Virgo snarled as he watched it disappear. LIBRA : OPAL OPPRESSION! His gem caused the Knight Sabers to feel dizzy and weak via unseen energy. SCORPIO : TOPAZ STING! The energy from his stone caused him to grow a scorpion tail with a stinger. He swung it and knocked Priss, Sylia, Nene, and Linna down. SAGITARRIUS : TURQUOISE ARROW! A blue bow and arrow appeared in his hand. He aimed it at the Knight Sabers. He let go of the arrow. He watched it bounce off of pillars and go through all four of them. MASON : No! CAPRICORN : GARNET SCOURGE! The red stone turned into a whip made out of rock and ice. Capricorn shattered Priss, Sylia, Nene, and Sylia's visors with it. Mason gasped. AQUARIUS : AMETHYST SCARY GO ROUND! The gem created spirits that surrounded the Knight Sabers. Nene's shrill screaming caused them to disperse. Sylia displayed her sword again. SYLIA : Ready? PRISS, NENE, & LINNA : Yes! They ran up to Pisces and attacked him all at once. PISCES : AQUAMARINE BARRIER! A blue wall appeared around him that caused the Knight Sabers to bounce off of it. The men representing the zodiac laughed. Aries displayed his diamond by extending his arm in front of his body. He seemed to whisper something. The Knight Sabers stood not knowing what to expect. They were knocked back by a woman's shriek. LINNA : What? Aries smirked. ARIES : That was Solitaire Shriek. The Knight Sabers struggled to stand without collapsing. Mason grabbed his coat when Aries wasn't looking and ran towards them. He wore it and was finally with his companions. Using their remaining strength, they hobbled towards a lake that had a portal in it. They went through it. Aries growled as he squeezed grapes in one of his hands. Mason, Priss, Sylia, Nene, and Linna found themselves in a dark world. They found a two year old boy holding a teddy bear while wearing a robe and head dress. MASON : What a cute little boy! I love his long green hair and matching eyes! Sylia looked at the little boy. SYLIA : Who are you? BOY : I am Nightmaryth. NENE : Nightmaryth? PRISS : That's what he just said. Weren't you listening? NENE : Sorry! LINNA : Why are you called Nightmaryth? NIGHTMARYTH : Watch. He stared at Linna and watched her hair fall out. He heard her scream. Linna shrieked without stopping for awhile. PRISS : Sylia, do I have your consent to kill Linna? SYLIA : Please refrain from killing her, Priss. NENE : Linna! Wake up! Nightmaryth is creating an illusion! You are not going bald. Snap out of it! Linna! The Knight Saber wearing the green hard suit stepped back. She snapped out of her trance. LINNA : What?! PRISS : YOU HAVE SPLIT ENDS, LINNA! LINNA : WHERE?! She scowled when Priss laughed at her. LINNA : YOU WILL HAVE A SPLIT LIP IF YOU DON'T STOP LAUGHING! NENE : Uhhhh, I know this is not a good time to ask.... SYLIA : You should have went before we met the guard. MASON : Why are you doing this, Nightmaryth? NIGHTMARYTH : I am a reject Boomer. Everyone gasped. NENE : Reject Boomer? NIGHTMARYTH : GENOM gave me the ability to dream, but I malfunctioned. I only had nightmares. They decided that I was useless and rejected me. I created my own world. LINNA : What about the Boomers we fought earlier? NIGHTMARYTH : They were my adult selves. My nightmares if you will. NENE : You dreamt about pain, tarantulas, hypocrisy, bondage, and possession? Nightmaryth nodded. Priss approached him and was about to spank him until Nene grabbed the boy. NENE : Don't spank him! He is only a little boy! PRISS : He literally gave me nightmares! I know that Mason does the same to his beloved yet bitchy Boomer. MASON : Hmph! LINNA : Why would GENOM want to create a dreaming Boomer? NIGHTMARYTH : If I have the ability to dream, I can be a powerful weapon. He sighed. NIGHTMARYTH : I have eternal nightmares and I can never wake up. Mason gasped. He felt immense pity for him. MASON : It is not fair. Why does a child have to suffer for eternity ? He ran as the Knight Sabers followed him. NENE : Wait for us! NIGHTMARYTH : Pleasant dreams, everyone. He watched them run through a portal to their own world. The Knight Sabers decided to stop chasing Mason and move on with their lives. Mason ran until he entered his home. He watched Funk sleep. MASON : Are you sleeping forever? He saw his Boomer open one eye before awakening. FUNK : How was the GENOM meeting? Tears filled Mason's eyes until they were released. Funk was surprised when his partner wept in his arms. He held him until he stopped crying. MASON : Pleasant dreams, my beloved yet bitchy Boomer. He kissed him until he stood and started to leave. FUNK : Where are you going? MASON : I would like to honor someone I know besides you. Funk continued to sleep as Mason left before entering Hot Legs. Mason stepped onstage in order to perform Wasurenaide to honor Nightmaryth. THE END.
